As the name suggests, once a fish and chip shop, this unique holiday cottage combines quirky features with contemporary amenities, ensuring a delightful and memorable getaway.
Step inside and discover a charming spiral staircase and rustic beams providing an ambiance that’s both cosy and distinctive. Four-legged friends are warmly welcome, ensuring the whole family can enjoy a break away together, and the enclosed garden is ideal for both relaxation and play, being a secure space for furry companions and home to an invigorating hot tub. Immerse yourself in the soothing bubbles and simply unwind. Within 1 mile you’ll find a three food serving pubs, a café and an Indian and Italian restaurant to choose from.
The bustling market town of Glossop is also just 3 miles with ample amenities, and being on the edge of the Peak District National Park means an abundance of popular towns and villages such as Edale, Castleton, and the famous spa town of Buxton are all within a 40-minute drive. The wonderful village of Hayfield neighbours Glossop and is popular with walkers due its proximity to Kinder Scout catering well for tourists with its own collection of pubs, cafés, and restaurants.
If you’re looking for city life, the bright lights of Manchester are just a half hour’s drive away, or 30 minutes on a direct train from Broadbottom which is just 1.7 miles from the property.

We spent a lovely 6 days at the cottage.
We spent a lovely 6 days at the cottage. It was super! Very clean throughout, hot tub good to go, welcome goodies - even a surprise for Rocky dog. We highly recommend the cottage, which is well situated for day trips and beautiful walks

A lovely little cottage but needs some finishing touches.Lamps in the lounge would make it cosier.Lights outside for the hot tub would be of benefit.Maybe a log burner aswell
