"Yubune was a fantastic place to rest on our way along the Shimanami Kaidō. The property is so clean you’ll think it was opened yesterday. The staff are super helpful; they not only recommended a fantastic yakitori place for dinner, but walked us there. And the onsen is truly something else - beautiful tiled mural and just an overall fantastic space. It helps that each day the men’s and women’s onsens switch so you can get to experience both. "Very easy check in, pleasant staff, and lovely to have access to a great coffee machine down in the lobby. The room was very clean, with a nice view, but it was very small."

"It was a fine stay. The room was cool with the projector for viewing and we loved the souvenir machine. We slept comfortably and the hotel was quiet. The room was fairly clean and water pressure was great for the shower. Free bottles of water in the room was nice as well. However the cafe closed early, the ice cream machine wasn't working and the rooftop bar was closed. The property had dust bunnies throughout and staff was sparse which made it feel a bit like a ghost town. "
