"Ended up staying here twice on our trip since we were passing that way again and needed a place to stay. This isn't the most amazing hotel you'll ever stay in, but it's solid. Comfortable beds, nice staff, decent food, and not a bad price. Sure the interiors are a bit dated, but it's not bad by any stretch. It's a solid option for a place to stay in the area!"

"We had donner and breakfast at the hotel. The dinner menu was limited as it was out of season but the beefburger was nice. Breakfast was good. Only reason I gave it 3 stars as it was really noisy. A number of cars parked in front of reception and I was awoken at 1am by a bunch of noisy people having snow ball fights and making alot of noise. They were there for a really long time."

"Clean, comfortable room, with excellent view to north. Was able to see northern lights all three nights from the comfort of room while temperatures outside were -15 degrees c windchills. Great location if hunting for northern lights. Kitchen had utincils for two of us. "

It’s hard to put into words just how surreal and unforgettable that experience was—truly a once-in-a-lifetime moment that I’ll carry with me forever. On top of that, the staff was exceptional. Warm, welcoming, and genuinely attentive, they went out of their way to make sure every detail of our stay was perfect. You could feel how much they cared about creating an incredible experience for their guests. If you’re looking for a place in Iceland that combines comfort, breathtaking scenery, and outstanding service, this is it. I can’t recommend it highly enough—and I would return in a heartbeat."
