This was the nicest place we stayed on our 11 day trip this year. The staff was very welcoming and the "apartment" room was fully set up with a kitchen, refrigerator, wonderful bed and private bath. The parking was right outside and the owner herself welcomed and showed me the room. Hope to be by again someday!

Really quiet and peaceful

Place was spacious and clean. Staff was polite and as per description it’s really peaceful and quiet. Only “bad” thing is that we had to use google maps on the actual address as the apartment doesn’t have a listing on google (very small issue)

This cute apartment suite was quiet, safe, and had an excellent view. The owner was very helpful and sweet, and help us accommodate a late checkin as we had to travel later than expected. Equipped with everything we needed, except we weren't aware laundry was a charged service rather than free or having a built-in washer/dryer.

Lovely room beautifully decorated and comfortable. Wonderful view over the fjord and mountains. Comfortable armchair to relax in. Nice kitchenette to make toast for breakfast. Only issue was that neighbours in both adjoining rooms were a bit noisy but that happens anywhere. Nice and warm given cold conditions outside. The caramel muffin in the cafe was yummy too.

Dream stay

What a beautiful place. This was hands down the most comfortable place we stayed at during over a week in Iceland. The place is really loved and the hosts are very kind and helpful. Our room was spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated, really feeling like a home away from home. We were very grateful for the kitchenette as there are not so many places to eat in Bogarnes and food in Iceland is very expensive. The bed was unbelievably comfortable and we had an excellent night of rest. The room is also warm enough and ventilated enough. The only suggestion I would make is to warn people not to wear silver jewellery in the shower. While there are signs talking about sulphur in the water, for tired visitors it needs to be a bit clearer what the implications are. The cafe is super cute. By the way, you had the only gluten free and lactose free dessert in town, so you should be proud of that. The staff recommended I try the museum but no it has nothing for people with gluten, lactose and legume allergies. I wish we could have stayed longer!

Cosy little apartment with great view of mountains

We stayed in a lovely, cosy apartment with a great view. Only a few hours from the airport. The kitchen was basic, but included a job for cooking. Just what we needed

The room was lovely, spacious and comfortable. It was only a few steps from a walking path along the water. The staff was very friendly. We would have benefited from some instructions for using the electric stove and the coffee pot. Soap in the shower would have been helpful. Food options were limited in the area during early May.

Das Apartment ist sehr geräumig. Nebenan ist ein nettes Café,wo auch die Anmeldung erfolgt. Parkplätze direkt vor dem Apartment . Einzig die Isolierung der Fenster ist etwas schwierig, Wasser sammelt sich. Lage ist top, wenige Schritte zum Wasser (über eine Treppe).

Ein wirklich kleines Paradies! Super schöne kleine Wohnung mit Küche und allem was man braucht… Geschirr, Gewürze, Tee etc. Ausserdem ist es super ruhig und einfach wunderschön um sich zu erholen.
