"From the USA. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Hotel was nice. I wouldn’t say a 5 star like they do here. The Pool area needs to be updated. Service could be a little better for a 5 star hotel as well. Staff was nice. Needs a better bar in the hotel. Breakfast buffet was good. Couldn’t hear the busy traffic from the rooms which is a plus. I would stay here again and recommend but don’t expect the ritz Carlton."

One pleasant surprise was that the cruise included a shore excursion, which I wasn’t expecting and really enjoyed. The only downside is that the ship is showing its age. While it is well maintained, it doesn’t have the feel of a brand-new luxury cruise. That said, the outstanding service and overall experience more than made up for it. I would happily recommend Orchid Classic Cruise."
