"Stayed here for my sons birthday to go to flamingo land. Property was very clean and well equipped, a home from home. Location was phenomenal, 10 mins from flamingo land and pickering Castle at 5 mins away. Some shops and take aways a small walk. Parking a bit hit and miss but managed to park both nights. We received a email from bill the owner the night before about gaining access to the property and the code .my friend and o had a lovely stay the property is in a great location right next to st marys church and the centre of town. "Booked this last minute for an overnight stay. Check in was very straightforward and property very clean. We arrived quite late after a day out in York, the pub was quite lively and popular on a Saturday night looked like a nice atmosphere. Room very clean and well appointed. Some noise from downstairs such as doors banging and voices but not excessive and once it was closing time was silent. Shower was hot and steady for both us in the morning and the breakfast cooked to order was excellent with plenty of options. My only small criticism was that it would be nice if they provided conditioner alongside the shampoo shower gel and hand cream in the bathroom, and the mattress was a bit like a bouncy castle which took some getting used to. It would also maybe be a suggestion during the change of seasons to provide a bed throw as the radiator didn’t seem to be on much even when turned up and it was a little chilly overnight at times. Otherwise a great stay and we’d probably book again if visiting family again in the area"
