A well appointed and peaceful/secluded home. Close to the city and all it has to offer, but removed enough that a dip in the hot tub at the end of the day was pure quiet relaxation.

Family spring vacation

Such a relaxing place to stay. Loved the covered porch overlooking the river for reading and chilling. Clean and well stocked. So nice to have a washer and dryer. The only reason I gave the location 4 stars instead of 5 is the daily 6:30 train if anyone would be bothered by that.

Wonderful spot

In town with kids for space camp, chose this over hotel and glad I did. Close enough to Huntsville for what I needed and lots of great hiking in the area. Very relaxing setting and stellar communication from the host. Definitely recommend.

Returning for Relaxation

This is the second time my family has stayed at the river house and this time we brought some close friends. The property was just as great as the first time we stayed. The location is hard to beat with the tranquility of the country and the close proximity to Huntsville along with several other points of interest. Will definitely recommend to anyone looking to stay in the area.

Nice Riverside Place!

Great place on the flint to stay and relax and grill out. Across the river there is a spot to put out for kayaking as well. The house was well stocked and clean and the owner was very nice and quick with communication.

We were in Huntsville for a wedding. It wasn’t too far out of Huntsville at all. It was conveniently located to restaurants, convenience stores, and dollar stores. It was a great place to stay and very relaxing! Hope to visit again soon.

Great place to stay near Huntsville!

My family stayed here for a week and it was wonderful! We had 4 adults and 2 young children, and absolutely loved the covered patio and outdoor space. The house was just as it looked in the photos. There is a railroad track nearby (my kids loved seeing the trains go by) but it did not cause any disturbances for us. The location was perfect for us as well! We made many trips to the playground down the road, as well as day trips to the rocket museum, Monte Sano state park for hiking, and the railroad museum. We had a great time!

Beautiful River Setting

Perfect location close enough to the city. But in a very tranquil setting. This was the second time we stayed here. The host makes sure you have more than enough amenities and is very helpful and friendly. A pleasure to stay here.

Riverside Paradise

This amazing Riverside property is just 20 minutes from just about everything. It was quiet removed from the main road and provided ample space to hang out and watch the river otter play.

Beautiful and relaxing

This was the perfect spot for our vacation. We are all about nature and relaxation and spent most of our time on the patio watching the river. The house is beautiful, and well taken care of, and it felt like home. We stayed for a week and I would have loved to have stayed longer.
