Fantastic location and a really homely feeling property. Just the right balance of quaint and luxury. Easy access to Arrowhead and Algonquin, while still being close to any amenities you could need. Property is cozy and beautiful with a great view of the lake. Will definitely be returning!
Everything about our stay was incredible. The cabin is very quaint and clean. The sauna worked perfectly and was very easy to get started. 10/10 would recommend.
A great experience from the first communication with the owners to the moment we left. The cottage was very clean, and appears newly renovated. The property is large and beautiful and has ample space for our furry friend to run around! The master bed was very comfortable and the shower had the best pressure out of any Huntsville shower I’ve used (we’ve been staying in Huntsville at various cottages for years). The host was very responsive and even let us check in early in the day and check out later in the evening as they had the availability to do so. We spent some time at the lake and even met some (very friendly!) neighbours! 10/10 will be back and 10/10 do recommend!
Property came as advertised. Super clean with an abundance of linens and towels. Everything is in good repair. Charming little cottage however did not feel cramped. We there for a fishing tournament. Lots of room to park vehicles and boat trailers. Large dock with a gazebo provided a great place to dock our boat and unwind after a full day of fishing.. Host Steffen was a pleasure to deal with. We were there for 6 nights and had no issues or concerns with the property or ameneties but given his proactive level of engagement before and during our rental i'm sure if we did have a problem he would have addressed it immediately. Will definitely be my first property choice next time we're in Huntsville.
The cottage and hosts were absolutely wonderful! The cottage came fully equipped and had the most comfortable linens and towels. The view and the dock were amazing, and all sorts of water toys were available. Would definitely come back again.
The cottage is spotless, compact and well supplied for a stay. The beds are comfortable and have very nice bedding. There is plenty to do outdoors, with a paddle boat, kayaks and water boards and a great fire pit with plenty of wood. The dock and deck are inviting and comfortable.Contact with the host was easy with very quick responses, and check in and check out was effortless.
We enjoyed our stay at this lovely, immaculately clean cottage! The dock is great, with lots of options - swimming, canoeing, kayaking, etc. on Lake Vernon. The kitchen had everything we needed. The deck is nice as well. Thank you!
This place is absolut amazing, we enjoyed every minute. The house is wonderful, the beds are very good, and the equipment leaves nothing to be desired. We loved to use the canoes and the sauna and watch the sunrise. It is a great point to visit the Algonquin park and the Arrowhead park, and the last one in particular is also highly recommended, as it is only 20 minutes away and has very beautiful hiking trails. We would love to come back again.
A beautiful peaceful property, lacking nothing. A lovely dock to sit in the sun or shade, and spacious deck for evening relaxing under the stars. It offers everything one would want for a great vacation complete with kayaks, canoe, paddle boat. The cottage itself has all the necessities and is very cozy and comfortable. We would not hesitate to recomment it.
Everything was perfect about this cottage. 100% recommend. 5 star. Would use again in an instant

Simple place. Liked the variety of water toys. Had soap, spices, shampoo, pam, basic kitchen items, had pots and pans, gave ready firewood too.
Close to the arrow head park so it was easy to drove to.
Only thing thing I'd say is make a pamphlet on how to do a camp fire. We just never had smores or hot dogs so we didnt bother with it. But my family dont know how to actually make a fire, lol.
