Perfection
We had an amazing time at this beachside home. Our young kids had the freedom to play on the beach (but still be in our sight). The view is to die for, home immaculate. We could not ask for anything more! Perfection.

Family vacation
Stunning location and home. We had an absolutely magical time. I kept the details under wraps, so it was priceless to see my family's face when they saw the deck with jacuzzi+, and the beach as our back yard. I'd be remiss if I didn't say that Tyler is FABulous.

Amazing location!
Well maintained home, right on the beach! We had a wonderful week on the beach with the entire family! We enjoyed the bbq, outdoor seating, fire pit, and hot tub. The outdoor shower was super convenient to rinse off the sand. We’ll definitely be back!

The property was perfect for our week at the beach.
This was our 2nd year staying in Sunset Beach, first time at this property, last year at their other property a few blocks away. The whole experience from booking to the end of our stay, was the most easy going and pleasant experience. The house and the location is amazing! The furnishings and the beds were very comfortable. Tyler, the property manager does a great job. Had to get a hold of him once or twice and he is prompt and professional every time.

Perfect Beachfront Getaway: Ideal Location, Family-Friendly Amenities, and Excellent Host
We had an incredibly enjoyable stay at this beachfront property! The location of the house is perfect, allowing easy access to the beach, local restaurants, and boat charters in Huntington Harbor. The beach itself was absolutely perfect for our family. It wasn’t too crowded, the waves were calm, there were no rocks, and the people were friendly. The house itself suited our family well and provided everything we needed for the beach, including chairs, soft tops, boogie boards, towels, and sand toys. The outdoor shower was convenient for washing off the sand, and the jacuzzi was a fantastic way to unwind after a day at the beach. The house was well-stocked with essential items and impeccably clean. Tyler, the host, was wonderful to work with—very accommodating and responsive. We’re already looking forward to booking again for next year!

Pretty, pretty, pretty good
House was clean, comfortable, well kept. The beach access was a few steps out the door. The master suite which looks over the beach and ocean and has a lounge area with a large tv and fireplace was awesome. Quiet neighborhood, beaches in mid-May were almost empty. Dolphins cavorted close to shore three days in a row, around 10 of them. Recommend this house to anyone.

Perfect location with great outdoor space and master!
This home is located on an idyllic stretch of the beach. Has everything, including the white picket fence and flowers. Just beautiful. Loved the outdoor space with the spa as well as the spacious master bedroom with incredible views. Host answered any questions I had immediately and was very friendly. Highly recommend this property for a relaxing beach vacation!

Just what we needed
This house in Sunset Beach was perfect for our family's needs for a relaxing beach retreat. We used the kitchen & bbq for meals often, and the house is stocked with beach toys & towels. Everything worked great, and the info book answered all of our questions for our stay. The area is perfect- quieter than other nearby beach communities, close to everything we needed. Tyler, the host, was available if we needed and responded swiftly to my one text question. We would absolutely stay at one of his properties again.

Great trip, no so great spa
Well maintained property and great location, plenty roomy for 8+ (we had 6). We could walk for miles and get to most everything which was nice. Parking in front of place was a little tight, but plenty of parking (including overnight) near by for additional cars. My only real negative was the spa was in very poor shape. We picked this property in part because it had a spa. The odor was so foul from the moment we got there, most everyone wouldn't use it. As someone that has maintained our pool for years, this was inexcusable for this price point. The water either needed to be shocked hard, or dumped entirely. After a few days most of the odor had gone away from the chlorine, but that isn't an adequate option when transferring to new tenants. Other than the spa disappointment the trip was great.

We have the spa serviced by our spa cleaners twice per week (every Tuesday and Saturday), year round, so I'm surprised it wasn't up to standards. I will review this with our spa cleaner company to avoid any issues in the future. Hope to see you again in the future!

Perfect family vacation spot!
Clean and well-stocked house, amazing access to the beach, and close by to lots of cool local spots (Captain Jack’s a must!). Also close by to Disney and the Long Beach aquarium, which our kids loved. Tyler was very helpful and responsive, though thankfully after a question about lighting the fire pit, we didn’t have to bother him after that. We had a great mini family reunion (our group from NYC, others from LA) and would love to visit again someday.

Breathtaking Waterfront Property
Our family had an amazing week vacation on the beach and visiting amusement parks. We stayed a week with 7 adults and 2 kids and had plenty of space. The beach was a few steps outside the back patio/deck onto the sand and your right there. Couldn’t have asked for more. We will definitely stay again!!!

Heavenly place
This was for my birthday celebration with girlfriends and it was just beautiful. We loved the house, the LOCATION, the beach, the sun. Tyler was lovely. The house is lovely. The beach is heaven. I would just advise that there was not quite enough supplies- only 3 rolls of TP, only one dish towel, not enough towels (we did do laundry quite a bit to help), and there is no soap for the sink or for the showers. Finally, if you live in a city you will be used to people living in the park across the street. We still felt very safe but I saw a complaint on another review and thought I would mention that its just the world we live in- nothing excessive, just to be aware.

Both Pros and Cons
Pros: - Cute and right on sand - Stunning master bedroom views and sleep to the sound of the ocean - Well stocked with outdoor furniture, cookware, and dishes Cons: - Bedrooms were too warm. Only comfortable room was master which gets nice breezes. - Linens need to be bleached and/or replaced. They weren’t adequately clean. And master bedroom pillows were stained and smelled like body odor. - Bad water pressure in showers. They are also dated and moldy. - Hot tub awful. I let the host know and he sent someone to “service” it (supposedly serviced twice a week but there 10 days and only time was when we complained). Servicing it consisted of a guy throwing in a chlorine tab of some sort. After I let my daughter go in. She ended up with a rash and a diagnosis of hot tub folliculitis, caused by bacteria in the hot tub. The host did refund the hot tub fee after he was alerted. - There is a homeless population living in parking lot directly adjacent to the house. - Neighbors blasted loud music and smoked pot about 10 hours a day. - Main living area cramped and not well laid out. Don’t recommend for more than 6. - I don’t know if Sunset Beach is always like this, but the 10 days we were there, there were multiple stingray bites EVERY day. My son was bit our second day there. The lifeguard sent us to urgent care who sent us to the hospital. Expensive! In summary, it’s a great rental for young adults! Definitely fun. But it is not family friendly or at all luxurious. It reminded me of the houses we rented when in college. For the cost you can do much better, unless your only priority is location on the sand.

Thank you for the feedback, Veronica! It is very much appreciated as it helps us improve our rental that several dozen families enjoy each year including the homeowners on a regular basis. We pride ourselves on providing a clean home so I will address the items you mentioned. We pay extra for twice a week hot tub cleanings due to the high volume of use, it can get some sand it in but the water is always kept clean and sanitary. The hot tub tested negative for bacteria but was drained and cleaned to be on the safe side, we have never had any of the issues that your daughter experienced but I am so sorry it happened! Relaxing Week on the Beach
My wife and I had a wonderful stay at this comfortable beach house. It is well located on a relatively quiet section of the beach, a short distance from the start of the bike path. The ocean views are magnificent, especially from the second floor balcony! The house was clean and the kitchen was well stocked. Tyler is an excellent host, always available with helpful information. Overall, a great stay!

Great family vacation only minor blemish
This was a four generation family gathering for Mother’s Day. With the entire family there, inevitably we would need to make tea for older adults. Mot enough mugs and cups in the cupboard were not properly washed and I wish there was a electric tea kettle that could heat up water fast rather than microwaving each cup of water to make tea. That was the only minor issue with the stay

Good family home

Perfect!
This property was perfect for my family especially for my two year old granddaughter. Its right on the beach with a fenced in yard so it was easy to watch her. There's a playground almost in the backyard. I look for cleanliness when I rent a house and this house was immaculate! The beds were so comfortable and linens were dream worthy. Tyler was easy to get hold of and came to assist us within an hour of calling him. We only needed him for the TV and he brought us a new Firestick because we couldn't figure out the old one. That was our only issue and it was minor and taken care of right away. Check in was easy and keyless which I prefer. The location could not have been better and the house is awesome. Views galore. We watched the surfers daily and used deck fireplace at night. The house is well stocked from the kitchen with spices and coffee to the toys for kids and bikes in garage. Parking is right in back of house and a lot for guests to park. Tv's in every bedroom and large fireplace in master. Couldn't have asked for better We were there visiting my daughter who lives in California and will hope to be back at the house every time we go back.

Book it, you won't be disapointed
1st we rely on accuracy reviews when we book, anyone can post pictures. And we know you always get that 1, who’s never happy. We Rent different locations for over 20 years and are in the process of building a Beach Property and know the type of renters (like us) we would want and what accommodations we would expect. Here is the bottom line, Yes we would stay here again in a heartbeat. Pro’s: Location is awesome. You have within walking distance, restaurants, Micro Brew, Surf Shop ect. The House is located on what I would call a Stretched Cul de Sac. 24 street long Of Beach houses, with a Park dividing the one lanes, one way only horseshoe Road. Folks Walk, ride their bikes, walk their dog, ect. Parking at these houses are limited to one car in front of the Garage, but there are tons of spots for overnight parking outlining this 2 mile stretch both sides of the park. The one lot across from the House is 6 AM to 10 PM only. Tons of Surfers use this as well as beach goers due to the entrance to the beach is right there. They are 2 bikes, and we all went on bikes rides down the beach several times a day, Paved beach Path runs for miles toward Huntington. The House was clean and plenty of room to stretch out. Outside deck was huge and fire pit was a nightly gathering spot. Small kids loved all the sand toys they provide. We used the 2 Surfboards and boogie boards provided. (Side note: We rented Wetsuits from the surf shop across the street which made the trip). Waves are why they call this Surf City. Tyler the Host is so quick to respond with a pleasant attitude, no matter how small the request was he responded immediately. Con’s: There are some Homeless folks that live in the Park across the street. Very well behaved and do not bother folks at all. Kind of flipped my wife out seeing them and caught her off guard, but very harmless. Grill needed manually light with a lighter that was provided, the auto light push buttons did not work. No big deal, just had to figure this out, would have been nice to know at the beginning. My expensive grill at home does the same thing, works great but needs manual lit. Keypad Locks were nonfunctional on several side doors, we used Garage entrance everyday, they fixed one that was a shared entrance, just frustrating showing up and can’t get in. But Tyler to the rescue really fast.

Great location on the beach
We had a great family vacation at this property! Tyler was the best property manager we have ever rented from. The house was extremely well-equipped with tons of sand toys and boogie boards. The convenience to the beach was amazing and the outdoor deck was great for hanging out. The hot tub was a huge plus, as were the very comfortable beds! House has some worn areas but certainly nothing to keep us from renting again!

Fun beach vacation
It’s a fun place to stay grandkids ages 9 to 12 we’re in the ocean with minutes of our arrival. Backyard was fun with an small hot tub we all enjoyed. House wasn’t as large as photos, but we enjoyed it. It took us a couple day to realize large master bedroom was also the living room it had great views and the large tv. We could walk to some good restaurants and a terrific brewery called golden road. Walking back on the beach after dinner was very cool.

Great week!
We had a wonderful time at the beach. It was nice that the kids could go to the beach and back to the house without having to watch for cars, etc. The jacuzzi was wonderful and it was nice to be able to shower off outside with warm water. The beds were very comfortable! The only down side was that there was nothing to clean up with. We could have kept the sinks clean if there was something to clean with, no sponges in the house. I think it would help the homeowner to have the cleaning supplies readily availabe. We only found one dish towel.

Highly Recommend!
This property is perfect! Everything you see on the listing is accurate. I would highly recommend this property for your beach stay. Here are a few of my thoughts: -The beds were extremely comfortable -We fit 3 families comfortably -What the living room lacks, the back patio makes up for (who wants to be inside anyway!) Overall, we loved it and will come back again!

Such a fun weekend!!
We had such an awesome family vacation. The house had everything we needed. It's in a great location. Having the beach as your backyard was amazing. Tyler was our host and it was so easy to communicate with him. Answered my questions right away. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you for the great memories!

Perfect WFA location for an extended stay.
The pictures don’t do it justice. The location is amazing and Tyler was probably one of the most responsive managers I’ve encountered on Vrbo. He responded to our text requests/questions promptly. He tried to accommodate our every request. He even upgraded the WiFi network to suit our needs so that we could work uninterrupted. Thank you Tyler.

Pandemic paradise
My family of four had a fantastic stay at this rental beach house. Literally on the sand of a pretty incredible beach. The house was perfect sized for our group. It could have accommodated multiple additional guests in fact. Everything worked. The manager Tyler was very responsive and dealt with a couple of minor issues quickly and effectively. It was the perfect remedy to these crazy times.

Great Location and Ammenities
If you're bringing kids, don't bother bringing any beach toys - this place had everything we needed: sand toys, boogie boards, beach chairs. The hot tub was a great way to warm up after coming in from the chilly beach (after rinsing off in the outdoor shower). The beach was excellent, and the surf was calm enough for my 5 y/o to play while consistent enough for me to surf.

Awesome Trip
Very pleasant stay here. Property management was great to work with. We have zero complaints about our rental and our time spent here. We had an awesome time! House is well kepted up and everything in the home worked flawless. Would definitely recommend this home to anybody considering renting a beach house. We can't wait to come back and are ready to book another stay.

Great beach location
The location of the home - right on the beach - was excellent. Great to play on the beach, people watch and just relax and have a wonderful time. The host was excellent - quick to respond, met us at the house to show us around and super polite, attentive and professional. We will definitely return. Thank you so much for a great beach getaway.

Private beach house with great views!!!
This property is beautiful and we had an amazing time. The kitchen has everything you need along with plenty of utensils, dishes, dish soap, pots, pans, and spices. The beds are very comfortable. Every kind of beach toy you can imagine. The only downsides were that the fireplace in the master does not work and we couldn’t get the hot tub to heat up. It wasn’t a problem though. We called Tyler and he took care of everything. We highly recommend staying here if you’re looking for a relaxing vacation!

Family Vacation
We searched for weeks before settling in this property. The property was awesome. The pictures were a little newer than the actual property but it was close enough. My family and I spent the whole week here. Tyler was on point every time I had a simple question. The house was perfect for our small family and a few friends that stayed with us. The deck and living room were prefect areas for everyone to gather and enjoy the beach breeze. A three minute barefoot walk and my toes were touching water! My little ones enjoyed the spa and the family used the Viking BBQ to prepare meals all day. The kitchen was stocked with a good amount of plates and utensils for everyone to use. Most importantly, the 12 cup cuisinart coffee machine meant we were in heaven. We will definitely be back to enjoy another family vacation and continue making memories.
