The Space:

Vista las Palmas is your ultimate tropical getaway in the Palmas Doradas community, located within the Palmas del Mar Beach Resort in beautiful Puerto Rico! This charming 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom apartment offers the perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and tropical beauty, ideal for a relaxing vacation.



Situated on the 4th floor, the unit provides stunning tropical views and convenient access via stairs or elevator. Our guests will be able to enjoy the community pool and direct beach access, making this the perfect retreat for up to 6 guests.



This villa offers AC throughout the entire property and has a washer & dryer, a great amenity for a longer stay.





LIVING AREAS



Step into a bright and airy living space with windows throughout that showcase the beautiful tropical surroundings and provide tons of natural light. The living room features a flat-screen TV and a comfortable leather sofa, perfect for unwinding after a day at the beach. Step out onto the terrace, furnished with cozy sofas and a high dining table with two chairs, where you can savor meals or simply relax and take in the serene views.





SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS



The master bedroom is a tranquil haven with a queen-sized bed, beautiful views, an ensuite bathroom, a small walking closet, and access to the terrace.



The second bedroom is equipped with two full-sized beds, a flat-screen TV, and an ensuite bathroom that is also accessible from the hallway.



Both bedrooms are designed to provide a restful night's sleep for all guests, offering black out curtains and fresh linens.



PACK AND PLAY (SUBJECT TO AVAILABILITY):



We can leave a complimentary Pack and Play at the property upon request. This should be requested upon booking or no later than 5 days before arrival. Pack and Plays are subject to availability.





KITCHEN



The fully equipped kitchen boasts modern appliances, including a toaster, blender, coffee maker, microwave, dishwasher, full-size fridge with freezer, and a 4-burner stovetop. With ample counter space and seating for two, the kitchen is perfect for preparing meals. Adjacent to the kitchen is a round dining table with four chairs, creating a cozy dining area for enjoying meals with family and friends. The kitchen is fully supplied and equipped with all the dinnerware and cooking ware needed for an extended stay. West Indies Vacation Rentals always ensures that guests have fresh dish soap and dish sponges for their stay.





GETTING AROUND & PARKING



You will need to rent a car while staying at Vista de Palmas to move in and out of the resort. There are also many activities within a 30-minute drive, which you will not want to miss out on.



The villa includes two (2) parking spaces. Ubers and taxis are not available in this area. Vista de Palmas is about an hour from the San Juan airport.





LOCATION



Vista de Palmas enjoys one of the most coveted locations within Palmas del Mar, Puerto Rico. Guests can walk to the beach and the community pool. The rest of Palmas del Mar's amenities are easily accessible by Golf Cart, which can be rented at Palmas del Mar. These include golf, tennis, a wide array of dining options, and various access points to the mile-long beach, marina, surfing, and mountain biking.



There are many things to do in the surrounding areas, here are some of our favorites:



Golf at one of Palmas del Mar's two 18-hole Golf Courses. Tee times can be booked over the phone.

Tennis at the Palmas del Mar Athletic Club with 20 courts that include artificial grass, Har-Tru Clay, and hard courts.

Lunch or dinner at La Pescaderia, an oceanfront restaurant by the marina with some of the best seafood on the island.

Explore the El Yunque Rainforest. El Yunque is an easy 40-minute drive from the property and is the only rainforest under US Flagship.

Chill at the beach! It is within walking distance, is a mile-long, and has a great beachfront grill!

STARTER AMENITIES



At West Indies Vacation Rentals, we strive to provide top-notch amenities, ensuring our guests feel at home during their stay.



All properties come with freshly laundered bed linens and towels. We provide 2 bath towels per guest and 1 beach/pool towel per guest.



We provide a set of disposable essentials to help you get your vacation started comfortably. These include:



- 1 set of hotel-size soap and shampoo (per bathroom)

- 3 garbage bags

- 1 roll of paper towels

- 2 rolls of toilet paper (per bathroom)

- 1 dish soap

- 1 dish sponge

- A small amount of laundry detergent



Please note that we do not provide unlimited disposable amenities. It is the guest’s responsibility to review what is included in the property and stock any additional items needed for the duration of the stay.



Most properties also include at least 2 beach chairs and an ice cooler. You may reach out to us 5 days before arrival for confirmation.





HOUSE RULES



RENTAL AGREEMENT: All bookings require a signed Short-Term Rental Agreement, which will be sent upon confirmation of your reservation. Guests must upload a valid photo ID (no selfies) that matches the name on the credit card used for the booking. The agreement must be signed within 48 hours of booking or prior to entering the property, whichever comes first. Check-in instructions will not be provided until the agreement is completed.



NO SMOKING: Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the property. A $500 smoking fee will be charged if this rule is violated.



NO PETS: While we are pet lovers, pets are not permitted at the property at any time. A $300 fine will be charged if this rule is violated, and guests may be asked to leave the property.



QUIET HOURS: Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. Please be mindful of noise during these hours out of respect for nearby residents/neighbors.



UTILITIES (WATER & ELECTRICITY): In the event of an interruption to water or electrical service, the host is not responsible for hotel, alternate lodging, or transportation expenses. If service is interrupted for more than 3 hours, guests may cancel the reservation and request a refund for unused nights only. Nights already used are non-refundable.



MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY: The maximum occupancy is 6 adults/children at all times, including visitors.



OCCUPANCY ENFORCEMENT: Occupancy limits are strictly enforced. Exceeding the maximum occupancy may result in immediate cancellation of the reservation or removal from the property without refund.



TOWELS & LINENS: Towels and linens are provided for normal use only. Please do not use them for cleaning or allow them to be stained with food, grease, or other substances. Charges may apply for damaged or stained items.



TOWEL HANGING: Please do not hang towels or any other items to dry in areas visible from outside the unit. A $100 community fine may apply if this rule is violated.



SUBLETTING: Subletting or re-renting the property is not permitted.





CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT TIMES



Check-in begins at 4:00 PM, and since this is a self-check-in unit, you can arrive anytime after that.



If you’d like to check in earlier, please contact us the day before your arrival, and we’ll confirm availability. When possible, early check-in typically starts around 11:00 AM. Please note that early check-in is subject to availability and depends on our cleaning schedule.



If you need a guaranteed early check-in, you will need to book from the night prior to ensure the property is ready upon your arrival.



Check-out time is at 11:00 AM. For late check-out requests, please reach out the day before your departure, and we’ll be happy to check availability for you.





TRAVEL INSURANCE / HURRICANE SEASON



We strongly recommend that all guests purchase travel insurance, not only during the peak months of Hurricane Season (July to October) but also throughout the year to cover unexpected events such as travel delays, pandemics, or other unforeseen issues.



Travel insurance is inexpensive and can reimburse travelers for most expenses associated with canceling travel outside of the cancellation window; however, coverage will depend on the policy purchased. Make sure to review and understand the options before purchase.
