Booked Oakwood for one night at the last minute for the final night of our stay in Kuala Lumpur. It was a pity that we did not find it before!
The property is very clean inside, and touches like bathrobe and slippers in the room made it feel even more luxurious in addition to the bathtub (not so common in hotels in KL). Separate living area with door to separate bedroom makes it feel like a true residence rather than a hotel.

the hotel is pleasant to stay in.. staff have minimal English, so don't expect to have help with K.L. tours, the shuttle bus only appears to hold limited patrons, but great for getting back from K.L., had to change tours as shuttle had been booked out, with apparently only 8 people booked. I tried to get a guide of what was offered by he hotel, and opening hours, had no joy with the staff assistance, the food was good and reasonable ate 2 meals daily there, and I run on a tight budget, so good...

Excellent experience.
The breakfast was awesome, probably the best I have experienced. The staff were efficient.
Rooms showing there age but very comfortable
The location is quite special with the mall and Sentral station KLIA.
I would recommend.

Tidy hotel with spacious rooms located at the IOI City mall. A great place to stay if you're stopping over in KL for a couple of days and don't want to go into KL Sentral, as the IOI mall can keep you buys for days. Staff helpful, pretty decent selection of stuff for breakfast, hotel clean and tidy, very accommodating to special requests for connecting rooms, infant cribs, and extra supplies of bottled water/coffee etc. A good kids club room with heaps of toys, colouring activities, and kiddy...

The standard rooms are small and tight, if you don't mind the small space, it's good but being claustrophobic I didn't like it and didn't get a good sleep at all in my first night. Luckily the manager on duty Hadi was very helpful, moved us to a corner room and I had more space and rest time after a long flight. Staff service in general is very good. My room attendant was very efficient and helpful too.
The spa and rooftop pool is still under renovations. There's a sauna and steam room in the...

The staff were very helpful, and when realising our flight was at midnight, we extended our stay for an extra day and the process was so easy (just a call to reception). the flights and early online check made the process a whole lot easier
