"There is no better location on the lake, especially if you rent a waterfront cabana with stairs leading directly into the water! Magical location a few miles out of town for those of us who don’t like noisy bars and street traffic. Attentive, friendly staff. Awesome swimming and views. Functioning AC. Pleasant, reasonably priced restaurant right overlooking the water. Truly a gem of a hotel. The rooms are spacious, simple, yet very clean and architecturally soothing. Elegant simplicity sums it up!"

"The hotel is small like 14 rooms and Adults only. Breakfast was included in our rate and it was fantastic. Service was very good. Only thing is it is remote, you need a car to travel to other great surrounding areas. Staff was awesome, very friendly and helpful. Free kayaks and they can arrange tours , massages for you They probably need a small gym. The lake in that area is a bit deep so you need to be a good swimmer or ask for their vests which are free too. Beware that the hotel allows people from outside the property for day pass or to eat there, even kids. We did not experience any trouble but most hotels in the area do that."

The grounds of the hotel are expansive and impeccably maintained. Everywhere you look, there's a sense of tranquility and natural beauty that adds to the overall calming atmosphere. Whether strolling through the lush gardens or relaxing by the water, the peaceful environment was a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. One of the highlights of my stay was the crystal-clear freshwater that surrounds the property. The water is absolutely incredible – so clear and refreshing that it felt almost surreal. I spent many hours swimming and simply soaking in the natural beauty of the area. Overall, my stay at Akalki Hotel & Centro Holístico was nothing short of magical. The combination of excellent service, beautiful surroundings, and the serene atmosphere made it a truly unforgettable vacation.
