Lovely hotel

Amazing location with great pool and hot spas. The only issue was limited English didn’t make it easy for us to work out how to see the surrounding area. It is big with Japanese bus tourists and they had it all planned for them. But a great place and we enjoyed our stay

This is perhaps the best hotel in the Hualien area, with a top-notch new facility and close proximity to the Taroko National Park which unfortunately was severely damaged by the earthquake on 4/3/2024. The menu and food quality in the restaurant was much to our liking and to our delight, reasonably priced for dinner. Beach was a short stroll away.

Lovely stay at the quiet Xincheng

Our stay was an absolute delight. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the rooms were spic and span and the breakfast was one of the best we ever had. The pool was almost 50m, which was great to do some lengths. The gym only had a few machines, so the pool was a good alternative. (don't forget a bathing cap or you will have to buy one) Nice to see refillable shower products instead of disposable ones. Only negative point would be that there was a miscommunication about the hotel shuttle reservation, and we had to pay for a taxi on our way home.

We were a bit disappointed…… It’s not clear with parking. We parked in front to unload our luggage and we had a lot. Was it not for Riley who came running out to help us and told us we gad to park at another building. It turns out the hotel had 3 different buildings and only staff in one if them. I wish this was a but more clear when booking. For the price you would assume you don’t have to walker to another building for breakfast and to use other facilities. Nice Stay

This hotel is relatively new - opened in 2021. All facilities are well designed. Rooms are elegantly designed. Very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was extensive and tasty. The hotel provide shuttle bus to the railway station. The only issue I have is it's location which is in the middle of nowhere. I thought it is located inside the Taroko National park but it is about 15 min outside of the park. Just be aware of that so you basically have to eat in.

Almost everything is excellent with this property. From the hotel, dining, to customer services. Their people are especially friendly and will do everything to help you. The biggest drawback is that it is in the middle of nowhere, literally no man's land. There is no uber, no transportion, walking anywhere is just to far and remote. You are literally stuck in the resort for nothing better to do. It takes about 30 minutes to get out to the Hualien town.

The room and amenities are great. It looks nice with an open view. But... there is no credenza for us to store our clothes. No tables to put my laptop to work. However, your room service crew was very cordial in accommodating me with a portable table/chair, and the luggage holder to at least mend the missing chest. This has somewhat eased my complaints.

What I disliked: My check in experience was not very pleasant because after parking the car and wheeling our luggage all the way to the lobby, we were told that we were at the wrong building as the hotel had two different buildings with another hotel in between theirs. This is not clearly indicated in the booking and when driving, it is not clearly indicated on Google Maps that they had two diff buildings. Also it kinda sucks to be in the satellite building, because the breakfast, dining and pools were all at the main building so we always had to walk over about 3 mins to get to it. The location is bad if you do not drive because there are almost no food options in the vicinity so you pretty much have to eat at the hotel. If you drive, Hualien city where most of the dining options are is a 30min drive away. What I liked: Upon entering our room, we realized we were upgraded from the normal twin room to a junior suite. We appreciated this but for some reason the staff didn't let us know when we were checking in. Thus the room given was extremely spacious and luxurious. There was also a hot and cold water dispenser on every floor which is very convenient. The hotel is also very clean which we appreciated.
