This is a lovely condo close to downtown Houston. Spacious, fairly new, with comfortable beds and furniture. Designer decor with a well done kitchen!

I booked this house for my birthday in Houston and the stay was great. The Host Reggie included everything we needed in the notes to check in and out. The house was so simple but so nice and we enjoyed our stay.

A LITERAL GEM

This place was NOTHING short of AMAZING. Reggie called to make sure we got in okay and gave a few recommendations of parks & restaurants. The property looked exactly the pictures and the place was SPOTLESS! Every bathroom and closet was stocked with face towels, hand towels, and towels for after you shower. This place EXCEEDED our expectations!

True Oasis in Houston

Our overall experience was fantastic. The house and its amenities were exceptional. Really appreciated the that amentiteis such as the towels, toiletries, and coffee were also super high quality and offered in a very generous manner. The sheets and mattresses were also very comfortable, clean, and high quality. The wifi was excellent. The house was really clean overall and very comfortable; all the utilities worked perfect (the showers had fantastic water pressure). It is the perfect stay for a family. The owner was also very helpful, attentive, and always responded really quickly.

Margarita Festival

We took a short weekend girls trip to Houston for the Margarita Festival. We rented the above property from Mr. Reginald Hooey. The home was perfect. I was so beautiful, clean, and spacious. Mr. Hooey went above and beyond to make sure our needs were met and to accommodate in of our needs. This place and owner are top tier 5 star quality.

Birthday trip

This house is absolutely amazing. Close to everything. Reginald is a great host. My flight was diverted due to bad weather. Reggie made sure he followed up with me and made accessing the house super easy. The amenities in the house accommodated all guests. The beds were so comfortable. Even the water pressure while taking a shower was perfect (lol). I can go on and on!! If you’re looking for a nice house. This is definitely it. You will not de disappointed!!

Memorial Day weekend 2025

The Downtown Oasis (I still am amazed that you can name your property mad it comes up in Maps, Uber, etc. This was very convenient!) is aptly named. This is a beautiful property. I wanted to visit Houston with my wife so we could see some family and friends. We ended up being a few other family members with us. The property is clean, gets great sunlight and I love the decor. The glass shower and walk in closet were some of the highlights of the house. Reginald was a great host. He was communicative, and quick to respond to any inquiries.The location is in an up and coming neighborhood, the greater 5th Ward. I had some concerns at first but it’s located near downtown so it was easy to get around by car or Uber. There is no supermarket within walking distance so you do need a car to get to supermarket or any store. I would definitely stay here again. It contributed to a great trip!! Thanks for your hospitality Reggie!

The location was perfect for our visit. We found it easy to jump on the highway and get to UH quickly. The home was very clean and had lots of thoughtful items to make our stay comfortable. The owner was very responsive and accommodating. We’ll be in Houston a lot in the next 4 years and the entire family agreed that we’ll stay at this property again.

Wonderful home and location

The property was exactly or even better than the pictures shown on the website. The owner of the property was very kind and helpful. We had a power outage and the owner had the generator running so we could have lights so we could continue enjoying our stay. I highly recommend!!!

July Fun with a Dash of Hurricane

Our first visit to Houston wasn’t what we expected with the hurricane but Reggie’s place more than made up for it. The pictures don’t do the house justice. And I seriously wanted to ship the king sized mattress home to me lol. Reggie was so attentive and helpful during and after the storm and was always available to us no matter the hour. I wouldn’t want to stay in any other home once I plan my second trip. Every place we wanted to visit downtown was only 10-15 min away by Uber/Lyft. Book this house-you won’t be disappointed!

First Time In Houston

I just want to say the location of this property was absolutely perfect. Literally the best location for all the hot spots including restaurants & night life. The property itself was absolutely beautiful. Any minor inconvenience I had, Reginald was right there which wasn’t even much to begin with. Definitely recommend & thank you for allowing the stay !!
