Really enjoyed our stay. Location to Minute Maid park is ideal. The place is really nice! 4 Levels, plenty of stairs. The front gate was difficult to open. Plenty of TV’s….need an IT person to figure them out. Couldn’t figure out oven too. Overall really nice place. 3 Full Baths and 2 half baths.

Great apartment that needs love
Place is clean but kitchen needs more ustensiles plates, glass wines essentials. Run down patio furniture. No water in one of the bathroom sink.
Confortable and location close to convention center but would need love!
We wanted to be in walking distance of the convention center, and this location was perfect. We found a great restaurant for breakfast (Leeland House) and went there every day. We also got pastries from Koffeteria which were astounding. The property was clean, and mostly as promised. I had read another review that gave me a clue as to how to open the gate to bring the car in; otherwise we would have been lost. We lost internet the first night and reached out to the owner, but never heard anything. It would have been nice to have dishtowels and hot pads in the kitchen and blow dryers in every bathroom, but we made it work. If you want a lively nightlife, this is for you. Many bars and beer gardens in the neighborhood. Overall experience was good.
The "Flying Pig"...lol... was genuinely amazing! The location was even better. Everything we did was within walking distance, and parking was plentiful. I even met the owner of the bar across the street. When he realized we were Veterans, he treated us like royalty. Every level of the house surprised us, and each was just as enjoyable as the next level. The rooftop gave us a view and great conversation. However, we could not use the stove, and the master bedroom TV was never turned on. Plus there was a lot of dust underneath the furniture etc. But I would stay again and recommend it over and over again! As they say, "when pigs fly"...but you don't have to wait to have a great time.

UNSETTLING
Made the best of an unfortunate situation. Looked forward to host our Houston/Florida family for an extended Father’s Day surprise…lounge on the rooftop, gather in the cool family room, play games and have a big family meal together. None of this happened. 1st encountered hot & humid rooms. We opted to lower the thermostat and wait for evening to see if house would cool down, we made due. That evening when we went to shower in the master bath, tile/drywall was an unfinished disaster and felt unsanitary. AC registers coated with grime and to top off that evening, we were woken when the head of the bed mattress was sinking and discovered that supporting bed slats had been destroyed and we turned and slept with our heads at the foot of the bed on an incline. Huge roach in downstairs bed/bath and kids didn’t want to stay over. Flying ants, several items in disrepair which left the home feeling unkept. Holes in doors, broken/missing door knobs, lose sink faucet in upstairs secondary bath, none of the lights were working at the top area and the fridge upstairs was broken. PM was very nice and did “offer” to send someone to look at the AC and fix the bed. Those items could’ve been hesitatingly overlooked, but the master bath condition was unacceptable and we actually bought shower shoes. No way tile & other would’ve been fixed in a weekend. With some concentrated efforts, the property could be like the photos describe, but it was a fail for us.
Spent a long girls weekend in Houston for a concert and had the pleasure of staying at this property. Manny was very attentive and friendly, he was very responsive with questions and addressed any concerns we had regarding the property. We were able to utilize all amenities and Manny even had someone come by to show us how everything operated. We look forward to booking again at this location or any other places Manny has available.
The home welcoming and had tons of space. The bed in the master suite had broken slats that caused the mattress to sink in the middle. And we couldn’t get the oven to work but all in all it was a nice stay!
We loved the location it was in walking distance of all the activities the home had enough space for everyone to enjoy needs a little updates and better communication with the host.
Worked well for 3 of us to stay here vs hotel which were very expensive. Short walk to convention center which was great. Very nice condo, but general area around it was not upscale if that’s what you’re looking for.
5 stars all the way. The house was awesome and clean. Nice amenities and the check in process was simple and easy. I would definitely return for another stay.

In Town for Daughter’s Baby Shower
Nice place however very dated in my opinion. Zero communication with property manager I inbox twice, once trying to figure out how to open security gate, second request wife saw roaches in downstairs bathroom. My wife refuse to stay there afterwards and books room at the JW Marriott. This place is made for much younger folks, too many bars and very noisy area.
Enjoyed overall stay but a lot of areas where construction has started, stuff kind of all over. Not generous with towels. King bed needs a new mattress. Bed on first level is very squeaky. Never got the hot tub to warm up enough. Unique property, fun place, a lot of personality. Very clean.

The place was not far from a lot of bars and the places we did go were short Uber rides away . The house is as pictured . Only complaint is cleanliness , 3 roaches were spotted . The hot tub was filthy and one of the beds did not have clean sheets . The floors were dusty and it just felt like it hadn’t been cleaned before our stay. Would book again if properly cleaned and exterminator for roaches.
The listing says sleeps 8 with four queen beds. The fourth queen bed is actually a mattress in the closet with no way to blow it up and no bedding. The place is dirty and unkept and had hairs on the sink, shower was gross, dust everywhere. The downstairs bedroom had two flat blanket like decorative pillows to sleep on. My daughter couldn't sleep because of how scared and gross it was. The downstairs bedroom had a window open with no covering and facing the street. I put some things I could find to try and cover it. When asked about the fourth bed, the response was that the listing was correct. My daughter and I had to scramble to find a new place to stay the second night. We all wanted to leave but the cost and availability of hotels last minute wasn't happening. We had to pack up, get an uber and go stay somewhere with an actual bed, where we felt safe. The others roughed it upstairs. I was super excited about what looked to be a cute little place. It wasn't. I do not recommend. The instagram light didn't work. Because it looked so gross and not clean, we bought our own plastic cups and left ice in the bag, just in case. The only good thing I can say is it is close to the convention center. Not a three minute walk as they describe but close: and if cleaned, had enough beds, proper bedding etc. it has potential but currently, choose another place or you will be moving in the middle of your stay,
Overall the house was nice and had what needed. However, the trash was overflowing outside, so we could not take out the trash. There is a fan in the living room, but we could not find the remote. The place could use a deep cleaning as there are chandeliers that have a lot of dust on them. The beds were not very comfortable. And the communication with the owner and the property manager were non existent. I messaged and called and never got any response from either. They could definitely do a better job moving forward for the amount of money you pay for they rentals.
Misleading Listing and Poorly Maintained Property – Proceed with CautionI rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience warrants a clear warning. The listing for this condo is highly misleading. The photos appear outdated and do not reflect the current condition. Upon arrival, we found the unit dirty and neglected. Dust aggravated our allergies, cabinet knobs were missing, lightbulbs were out, and the neon sign didn’t work. The rooftop—one of the main reasons we booked—was unusable at night due to non-working lights. The furniture was nothing like the listing: no wicker couch or cushions, just a few cheap chairs. A rusted metal cactus posed a safety hazard. The speakers were distorted, and both the fire pit and grill were broken.Inside, the upstairs smelled stale, the AC filter was filthy, and the front gate code didn’t work. Kitchen cabinets were broken or missing handles. One bathroom was so poorly lit it was unusable unless the door stayed open. Shower curtains were old and stained, and ceiling repairs were left unfinished. The fireplace didn’t work, and most remotes were useless.Attempts to contact the host went unanswered. Several recent reviews claim the property is clean and well-maintained, which is simply false. They appear fabricated or posted by someone affiliated with the listing. This property is no longer maintained and borders on false advertising. I’m pursuing reimbursement and plan to report this to the BBB.
I wanted to love it so badly. We rented this place with beauty content creation in mind, as well as a safe space for my toddler to hang out with my mother while I attended a conference for a few days.I was disappointed. The pillows were dirty - we did get those replaced. The floor was dirty - the cleaner came, but told us the owner says they can only clean the floors with water. The mattress in one room was gross. There were unfinished areas in the house where some of the wall was exposed, lights didn't work, water had low pressure in some bathrooms, etc. We also saw some bugs crawling underneath the tile in the shower on the low level. I will say the owner did bring us new pillows, even after initially saying they would have to be ordered. He also sent the cleaner back out and send RAID spray. Between being unable to clean the floors with anything but water and the cleaner being unable to move any furniture (her words), the house was incredibly dusty. There were also random paint touch-ups that looked unfinished, the pig lights didn't work/plugs were broken, etc. Literally everything we rented the house for was not working or in good shape. The furniture in the living room is uncomfortable - we kept sitting down on the couch and hitting our tailbones on a bar. My mother, who has COPD, struggled the entire trip. There was a lot of dust under the bed, on top of the headboards, etc.I asked for a partial refund due to the place not being in good shape and was denied.
Perfect place to stay near downtown, PNC Stadium and Minute Maid Park. The garage even had a Tesla charger!

Cool place but could use a few updates and changes
Overall, my girlfriends and I had a great time at this house. Here are the details:
Location: The location of the house was great - right in the center of town, close to everything. Parking, though, was rough. The house is on a busy street near downtown bars and Minute Maid stadium, so it was hard to find consistent parking. There was a garage, but it was tight and cluttered.
House: The house is huge with many upgrades (in particular kitchen appliances and bathroom sinks/showers). Upon first glance, it’s super cute, modern, and spacious, with a bathroom in every bedroom (major plus) - perfect for 7 adult women. There are four floors and a million stairs (which we didn’t fully expect). However, the house definitely looks highly used and it could use a DEEP cleaning and some updates. There were lots of scuffs and scrapes and hand prints on the walls, tiles coming up in the showers, cobwebs under the stairs, the cabinets on the fourth floor where the games are kept were FILTHY, the lights on the patio lights didn’t work, and the wood floors needed cleaning. The coffee maker had a filter in it that looked like it had been there for years, which indicates the cleaners really just do a surface job. The sofa and chairs need to be cleaned as well since they are upholstered pieces. The gate in front of the house was unreliable - sometimes it opened, sometimes it didn’t. On surface, it’s a really nice house, but as you get settled, it’s easy to see it needs some work done, especially if they will continue to put a premium price on it.
Host: We never heard from the host, which was not a necessarily problem because we didn’t have any issues. However, I am accustomed to at least receiving a greeting message upon arrival with reminders/helpful tips and a “thank you” when it’s time to leave. We never heard from the host at all, but the details included were sufficient enough for what we needed. One thing: there’s doorbell-like button on the side of the main gate that is not particularly noticeable but required to open the gate to pull in a vehicle. I had just happened to see someone push that button when I arrived, but I had to show other guests in another vacation home on the property where the button was because they could not figure out how to get their cars onto the property. This would have been helpful info
Overall, we had a good time. Would we stay again? Probably, but only if it’s cleaned properly and freshly painted.
