Fishing was great. We caught about 35 specs and other misc fish. The restaurants and bars were within walking distance, along with the Kemah Boardwalk. Our host, Hailey, was very attentive and answered questions immediately. Perfect trip overall.We will be back next year!

Perfect house in perfect location! We loved the house and location not having to drive to the Boardwalk. Hailey was an awesome host and responded quickly to answer any questions we had. We loved the fishing dock and actually caught some fish and crabs. Everything was great!!

100% honest review: if you're looking for a brand new house that smells like new paint and new appliances, don't stay here. However, if you're like most of us and realize that homes are lived in and each has its own story to tell in every scuff and ding, then stick around! First off, this is a rental and therefore it has the wear and tear of a rental. Some of the paint was worn, the kitchen chairs have stains, etc. However, this place is beautiful!!! The owner has definitely put with into upgrading the house and it's gorgeous. My kids lived for the game room. We played pool the entire trip! The dock is perfect for fishing and the balconies has the best view of the new years fireworks. We had a few minor issues and the owner messaged me immediately to resolve them, and then showed up with pastries and champagne the next day to apologize!!! Talk about a sweetheart. I'm going into my second round of chemo for cancer and this was our last family vacation. I couldn't have asked for better! The only downside was not being able to stay longer. You'll LOVE this rental!

Husband’s 60th Birthday Party

Wonderful location and host! House is perfect and in the best location for Kemah. We had a cleaning issue but it was discovered that a new cleaning crew was used and they will be using a different crew in the future. Host was very easy to work with, responsive and receptive to suggestions. Even offered to load the crab traps for us. This is a perfect house for families, reunions and for us a 60th surprise birthday party. Loved the place!

Nice Location

We had a great time at our visit Labor Day weekend! The house was very nice with the most beautiful view. The location is walking distance from the Kemah boardwalk, restaurants, bars, and boutiques. Too bad is was insanely hot outside, in the cooler weather I think it would be nice sitting out on the back deck looking out at all the boats going by. It would be nice if there were some more sitting area on the back deck. We will be renting again. Thank you Hailey!

Home is beautiful and clean. Plenty of space to gather. We caught a crab in the crab basket and a couple of catfish. Took kids to the boardwalk just a few steps away. Plenty of nightlife within walking distance, although we didn’t take advantage! There is a carafe coffee maker, you can bring your own coffee grounds… Ping pong & pool table downstairs were fun for the kids. We’d definitely stay here again. Perfect for our family gathering.

Amazing house on the bay

We loved everything about our stay in Kemah. Hailey was very communicative and explained everything well. The house was BEAUTIFUL and very well stocked with everything needed for a lovely stay. We enjoyed all of the spaces but especially the bay-facing balconies. The pier is also great and just outside the back door. The house was also super close to everything. We were able to easily walk to the Boardwalk and to local restaurants and entertainment. Several members of our group were already thinking of others they’d like to bring to this area in the future. Would 100% recommend this space to family or friends of 10+!

Fun, Unique, Clean

This was such a great stay for our big group of friends. We had a great time fishing, playing ping pong, and hanging out in the house. This place is super well kept and clean. Lots of pots and pans and kitchen stuff so you can make big meals. The boardwalk is literally a minute walk away, as are many fun restaurants and bars. We got to see a Friday night firework show from the house dock. We were basically sitting right under it. So cool. The host was very communicative and checked in on us, which I really appreciated. This is a great place for a big family or group of friends. If you want a perfect way to check out Kemah, this is it.

Weekend away

We had a family weekend to go fishing. The location was great. We did a lot of fishing off the doc. Walking to the boardwalk was easy. The only issue we had was the shower on the main floor leaks to the the lower level. They clearly have had this issue before based on the yellow stains on the ceiling. The ceiling had water pouring out of it. The host asked us to clean the drain in the shower. We were asked to remove all garbage from the house but there weren't any garbage bags. Overall it was a nice weekend. Just made it hard when we could no longer use one of the showers.

Blue diamond in Kemah

We had the best experience at Blue Bay! Check in, descriptions of the home with instructions made it easy for us. We loved the notices inside the house with WiFi info and the binder with locations to urgent care if needed! The soft grey painting with white kitchen and off white couches were beautiful. Not only is this Blue Diamond of a property well taken care of, but the location is a gem! We had a staycation for prom weekend here with 12 girls and 3 moms. We were walking distance from Kemah for the girls to enjoy. Afterwards, they played in the game room with ping pong, pool and they brought their virtual reality and Wii sets for some fun. Saturday was a late wake up day filled with primping hair and makeup for prom. There was plenty of space for girls to get ready. Even when everyone was showering at the same time the water pressure stayed full and hot water didn’t run out! Pictures outside overlooking the bay with their dates were beautiful! We can’t wait to return to this location!

This property is absolutely BEAUTIFUL nside and out!!! I can't say enough about all the details this property has...It has everything!!! Fully stocked kitchen with all appliances/ dishes you need.Fully stocked 3 full baths plus half bath.All internet wifi /TV more..Balconies to enjoy the view.The view is breath taking.Watching the ships pass by through BIG BAY windows with zero obstructions..Every floor has water view facing the bay.The private pier for fishing and sitting is completley lit up and has water hook up for cleaning.There are plenty of games:ping pong,pool table,darts,foosball.Kemah boardwalk is only a 3 minute walk away.There are plenty of restaurants and bars and shopping available.Lots to keep you busy or you can sit back relax take in the view on the balconies hearing the ocean waves and watching the pelicans!!!The house is huge and plenty of beds for everyone to sleep lots of guests.There is a master on suite you will LOVE!!!!You will get good nights sleep and the A/C works great for all 3 floors.The water pressure was great and plenty of hot water.We had a big group of 12 everyone were able to get hot showers!!!Our host Hailey was AWESOME!! She communicated with all instructions.When I had questions she responded quickly!!!! Check in and out was a BREEZE!!! There is a welcome manual in the house with all info.The whole experience was fantastic! We will be going back.You won't be disappointed with the BLUE BAY HOUSE! It was a dream stay.Thank you D.Adair

60th Birthday

From the time I booked this property, it's all been a plus. Hailey was very prompt with communication process and answered everything I needed to know and clarify. Contactless checking in and checking out were excellent and easy. The property was superb and what they say is what you really get and even more. It's gorgeous and new, very welcoming, and equipped with everything we needed. It's very clean except for the AC vent that needs cleaning cause some who are sensitive to dust were sneezing and we noticed that the vent in the entrance hall was full of black dust. We love the location and proximity to Kemah boardwalk, restaurants and the likes. The boys enjoyed the game room with the pool table and pingpong. The sofa was a big addition for sleeping in. We also caught one blue crab in the pier and some guests really enjoyed hanging out in the pier and watching the sunrise and sunset. We really loved celebrating my 60th birthday singing and dancing. Wifi was fast and some guest preferred watching movies as the house has 3 TVs already connected to HBO. Aside from the concern we have with the dirty vent, we didn't like and appreciate that on our last day (today), the AC on the main floor where we gathered for brunch and supposedly enjoying our last moments together in the living room, was turned down or should I say was off. It was too humid and hot that instead of leaving at 2:00 pm (as agreed) to enjoy my real birthday, we had to leave earlier to our dismay.
