Very quiet neighborhood

It was very very nice and peaceful stay. The house was so nice and clean and very big. I was amazed at the layout of the house and the private patio that was mentioned was very nice.

Beautiful Home

We truly enjoyed our stay this weekend. The home is exactly as pictured. The host has excellent communication and is very responsive. The tvs in every bedroom is a huge plus, as my family were all able to enjoy their favorite shows. The kitchen is modern and plenty of appliances to prepare home cooked meals. The gate adds a touch of extra security so we slept well in the comfy beds every night! We would definitely stay here again!

Perfect for our needs

Lovely rental option. We wanted to be close to NRG stadium so location was ideal. House was clean. There was some train noise at night but not overly impactful. Kids slept through it. Even my 8 year granddaughter told me she really liked the house. Would stay there again, if we go to another football game.

Houston Weekend

We stayed at this property to attend the Luke Combs concert at NRG Stadium. This property was very close to the venue and other places we wanted to visit while in Houston. Properly was very clean and modern and had everything we needed. We were initially concerned about the location and surrounding neighborhood, but we felt safe with the security gate etc and had no issues.

Beautiful home

This was a beautiful and well maintained home. I stayed with 2 colleagues for a work trip. While I wasn’t familiar with the area this home was located, I found it to be very peaceful. I was told by friends who live in the Houston area that it might not be the safest neighborhood, but we did not have any issues. I’m originally from Queens, NY and I didn’t feel unsafe AT ALL! The owners were amazing and truly we felt right at home! I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a home away from home!

The property was very clean and well maintained. It was less than 10 minutes to NRG which was perfect since we were there attending a game. The fenced in/gated property made us feel secure. There was enough parking for two vehicles if you use the garage.

Beautiful house

Myself plus four family members stayed for a family wedding weekend. The house had everything we could need and the space for the four of us was so amazing! The gated driveway made us feel extra safe in the neighborhood. Checkout was easy and it was nice to have a garage unlike some of the rentals we considered that did not have great parking. We stayed at this property to attend my step sons graduation. It was absolutely fabulous! The home is exactly as pictured. Very clean! The property owner responded very quickly to any questions that I may have had. A very simple checkout process! The neighborhood is older but it was quiet for the most part. We felt safe in the home.

We had an amazing stay. The property was very clean, nicely decorated, and had wonderful amenities. Loved the extra security of having a 10ft. electric gate surround the property. The option of using the garage was also a huge plus. The hosts were amazing!!! Very responsive, kind, and available, if we needed them. During our stay, we went to the NRG stadium. It was within 10 mins of the property with minimal Houston traffic. We chose to use the South Fannin METROrail park and ride which was super quick, easy, and a cost-saving place to park for the stadium. We will definitely be staying here again when we return!! Thank you, City and Serene for being such wonderful hosts!!

Weekend GetAway

The host was amazing at communicating leading up to and throughout our stay. The home inside was exactly as promoted. Very spacious and nice decor. It was really appreciated that the home had extras of toilet paper rolls, paper towel rolls, trash bags, etc. One thing i can suggest is instructions on how to use the thermostat. Took us a few minutes to figure it out. The hot water in the master shower can get very hot really easily, so just be careful about that. Neighborhood is a bit on the rough side but didn’t have any problems thankfully. Home is just a short drive away to great restaurants and entertainment. Over a wonderful stay and would rent again in the future.

Phenomenal!

The house is gorgeous and impeccably clean. There are a lot of nice touches such as the labelling of light switches, something really small but makes a big difference. We found the house to be even lovier than shown in the photos which is not always the case. The host was also amazing, super responsive and proactive. Overall I highly highly recommend this property! The only downside, which has nothing to do with the host, is that there's quite a bit of road noise, especially in the master bedroom which faces the road. Just something to be aware of if you're noise sensitive. It is in a developing neighborhood, which is pointed out in the description but the high fence surrounding the house and the industrial gate at the driveway entrance made us feel very safe. Thanks for a wonderful stay, if we're ever back in Houston, we'll absolutely stay here!

Family Affair

My youngest son graduated from Rice Univ and so my husband and two older children stayed at the house during our visit! The rooms were great-each has their own tv, the beds are REALLY comfortable, bath towels are super absorbent, and there is bath gel, shampoo, conditioner and lotion provided. The owners are quick to respond to questions and initiated to make sure that our stay was going well once we areived. We really appreciated their care and concern. Another reviewer mentioned the noise on the street and that was truly the biggest drawback. Our family never saw a train station but there is a train that runs consistently-especially through the night and the sound of the horn would wake us up. I used earplugs and a white noise machine but still could hear it and other noisy trucks, cars and emergency vehicles. HOWEVER, there is nothing the owners can do about the location of the house. The house is EXACTLY as pictured-trendy, well designed and super clean!!! The owners were also incredibly generous-there were cold waters in the fridge as well as snacks, coffee and tea keuring pods available for our enjoyment. They definitely went above and beyond to make our stay special!!!
