The decor was very nice. The owners turned the property into a place that looked great in pictures. I did not like the bed and bedding. The bed was very used and the bedding seemed dirty. I found bugs on the floors. The hotel is located near a highway that is very loud.

Not bad for a budget motel. Close to many restaurants and businesses. Bedside clock wasn't working but everybody uses their phone these days for alarms so it wasn't a real problem.

We were driving through the Woodlands needed a place to stay the night. Price was perfect! Rated 8.2 and would agree with the scoring if not higher. The hotel was clean and we were so comfortable we extended another night. We will return in the future. Thanks

Hotel Blue is like a modern mom-and-pop. It reminds me of a value knock-off of Hotel Indigo, in fact. (Coincidental? I think not!) The design and furnishings are up-to-date, our bed was comfortable, and the room was clean (no carpet). The staffer who checked us in was polite and helpful. If you're averse to noise, choose a room on the second floor on the end away from the interstate (warning: no elevator) and run the fan on the heating/AC unit or a white noise app. We would definitely stay there again on a future trip to the area.

The only complaint I have about this place was the overpowering smell of their cleaning formula - it was so strong it was bothering my allergies, causing my eyes to water. But the room was very clean, even the tub was sparkling clean! Great shower pressure. Mattress not the greatest but I've slept on worse. Good size room with very high ceilings making room feel even bigger. In room microwave, fridge w/freezer, coffee maker, hair dryer, iron & board. TV not huge but it worked well. "Breakfast" provided was only packaged honey buns, ding dong cakes and the tiniest apples I've ever seen! Interaction with staff was minimal , no problems checking in or out.

The place was clean. The housekeeping staff at that hotel were very good. The women who worked at the front desk were nice, but there, Customer Service was poor. My showerhead was clogged and therefore the water pressure was low. I reported this on the first night that I stayed and I stayed for about a week. The showerhead was never fixed nor did anyone say anything about it again. The washer they have was broken. Unless Twinkies, donuts and coffee is an acceptable breakfast, they do not serve breakfast as advertised. Half of the machines were broken. They did have fruit that looked about a week old. What was really telling was that after spending over a week they were going to charge me For a late check out. They then got upset because I was sitting in the lobby for 50 minutes. I am sure the hotel looked better when the renovations were new. I don’t think they put too much effort into maintenance anymore. I don’t recommend this motel.

Nice clean blast from the past.
This place is a blast from the past. Nicely remodeled but still very 1960s motel style. The staff was very friendly and what little I needed was provided. The place was clean and comfortable. The bed could be better, but again, reminds me of the 1960s. If you want a nice clean place on budget, check this out.

Rooms are very clean, lots of places to eat close by, the woodlands is very close almost next door, it’s a good choice if staying in the area; would recommend this hotel if your looking to stay in woodlands area

The only reason I’m giving this place a 1 star is because I was greeted nicely when I checked in but there are some details that really need attention. The TV wasn’t working so I called front office and I was told someone would fix it in about an hour, nobody came. The next day I went downstairs and told another lady about the TV issue, she sent a guy that just messed with the control for about 5 minutes then said he would be back in 10 minutes and never came back. Not even a phone call to apologize or say they wouldn’t be able to do anything. So the whole weekend no TV…then you were able to see debris on the floor and hair in the sink and the shower. The sink was clogged and I didn’t even bother to ask to get that fixed because well they couldn’t even deal with the TV. I wont be staying in this hotel again you really do get what you pay for

The guy that was working the desk was new and kept staring at my ID like it was a fake one. Took him about 20-30 min to check us in. He couldn’t find my reservation he said. Besides that the place was clean. The only thing is the doors did not have a brush guard on the bottom of them so unwanted bugs would make it into our room.
