"I have stayed at the Doubletree several times when visiting Houston. During this stay I noticed a decline in standard. On several occasions we had to call down to the Front Desk and ask for toilet paper, kleenex, towels. It seemed the maid came in and onl"

"They tried to charge an extra $35 just because we used a face towel! The breakfast was terrible, and even though I repeatedly asked them to refill the missing items, they insisted on not doing so. They had ridiculous rules and tried to nickel and dime us for everything for example, if you wanted an egg, it was an extra $10! I stayed for 3 days, and they didn't even change the lemon water at the entrance once; the water tasted awful by the end. The only good thing was the location. Other than that, I will probably never come back, especially since the staff was not welcoming or friendly at all."
