Beware of bed bugs!!

Absolute nightmare. The company running this VRBO could not have cared less about the infestation, when I reported the bed bugs they just wanted to inform me that I wasn’t going to get refund even if I asked for it. We left to check into a hotel at 12 am after seeing bugs all over both beds. They still have not had a pest control company out or gotten rid of mattresses and rugs, instead they claimed they didn’t see anything themselves and let the next reservation check in the next day. Worst experience of my life.

Elegance in the midst of transition...convenient to downtown!

Everything felt brand new...linens, construction, appliances, (though freezer door was a little jammed with ice)Beautiful lighting, HVAC was perfect with thermostats upstairs and down. We loved all the closet spaces, funishings and floorings. Adjacent to downtown/convention center area but outside the hub-bub. Parts of the neighborhood are under construction and an adjacent house very ramshackle and sketchy (I peeked over the fence). The Vrbo house is completely and securely fenced including parking area. The hosts were ex tremely responsive to a concern with a persistently beeping appliance. They fixed in a timely fashion. Only things that showed wear and tear were the porch railings could benefit from a coat of white paint and the absence of a paved walkway(s) to the steps. It was overall comfortable, clean, upgraded. I would stay there again in a heartbeat! (Then I could see how the cool building projects in the neighborhood came out!)

Not what we expected because iPhone maps made the property look bad. But this house is very nice. Owner was great with communicating and met our every need. You will enjoy your stay.

This is an absolute gem! Comfortable, modern, and well appointed. Close to Minute Maid Park for an Astros game. We will be back the next time we are in Houston!

BEAUTIFUL HOME!!

The house is absolutely perfect, in an up and coming neighborhood, within a mile of some of the best Mexican restaurants in Houston! The management company was responsive and communications came quickly as I had questions before and during my stay. The only caveat I would mention is for anyone bringing pets, specifically dogs. While the whole property is fenced in, there are significant "escape" holes underneath the front gate door and the gate by the driveway. I happened to have some fencing with me so we were fine, just be sure to plan ahead. The main bedroom suite upstairs is an absolute dream (especially the bathroom!) and both beds are super comfortable. The washer and dryer are brand new (but you will need to bring your own detergent) and the coffee bar was such a treat. I highly recommend this property to anyone visiting Houston!
