Great service but a roach problem a really bad one

The service was phenomenal they understood that they checked me into a moldy water damage room that was never taken out of service but they quickly moved me to another room that was much much better however that evening the roaches dozens of roaches came out and we're all over everywhere. I couldn't sleep because they were crawling all over the bed so I ended up checking out sometime after 2:00 a.m.

Check in was quick and easy. The rest was down hill quick. The room had dirty counters,floors, tub, sink, floor cracking, and the bed was like sleeping on pure box springs.

No pool, no complimentary breakfast, there was a child running up and the 2nd floor. So we couldn’t really enjoy or stay and rest. But the rooms and staff were nice.

Great location. However the room was not in the best of shape. No one came to clean the rooms. You had to bring the dirty laundry(towels)to the front desk downstairs to get some clean laundry. I thought that was a bit weird. Dirty carpet, and the bathroom was atrocious.

Customer service was great! Room was severely outdated. Water stain took up at least 75% of the carpet which caused the room to have a heavy mildew smell. TV was even the smallest; 24” and there was no clasp on the door to help secure it!!!!

The service was great and the people were friendly. The hotel has definitely seen better days. We only reserved for one night. I should have read the reviews sooner. I think the room was as clean as it could be, but the floor was cracked in places and the carpet was torn. The bed was comfortable, however, had I found the roach when I got there instead of when I was leaving I wouldn't have bothered to find out. It was an easy check in and an easy check out. I just don't do bugs.

Disappointed to say the least.

I immediately checked out of the hotel! Markings and stains on the walls, furniture with very noticeable signs of wear and tear, and the bathroom was a complete disaster! I’m sure every room is not like the one I was assigned but beware. The rooms have plenty of space and when it was new you can tell this was a beautiful hotel but it’s obvious they have an unskilled maintenance team to keep up with normal wear and tear.

The property was not in good conditions. Bugs where coming out, rust in the tub area, poor internet service, receptionist was never at the front. Transferred to a newer renovated room and yhe toilet would not flush. No maintenance available.
