"I had an incredible stay. Estiben took care of all my needs including helping me with my Spanish and arranging for tours. The hiel is very quiet and peaceful with a stunningly beautiful garden and patio. It’s a short walk to the Santa Catalina arch and very close to the entry point for the hike to Cerro de la Cruz. "

"Nice place to stay with spacious and clean rooms and friendly staff. Quite close to coffee shops, tour providers, restaurants, etc. yet a bit away from the more crowded centers. Nice breakfast included in the price of the room. "

"This hotel was conveniently located and no more than a 10 minute walk to wherever I needed to get to. There were so many options for both street food and dine in. "

"Love this hotel!! Need more food option or at least vending machines, because you’re not allowed to bring food from outside. But overall it is ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ "
"Very good place for my stay in Antigua. They were so helpful in storing my luggages away even after check out for a whole day for free when I went for the volcano hike. "
"Very nice hotel, we enjoyed staying there, the employees were courteous and attentive. Great location The food needs improvement for the price they charge. "
"Lovely hotel for our first few days in Guatemala, very comfortable rooms (hot water in shower takes a while to come through but this is normal) with a lovely breakfast on the terrace each morning overlooking a volcano and very friendly staff. Slightly further out than some hotels but still walkable to eg the main square. "
"We stayed in the triple bed room, which was very nice. There were only two of us (we booked late so it was the last available room) and we had plenty of space. The beds were each a different firmness which could be good for lucky sleepers. The bathroom was updated, the rooftop restaurant served excellent food. The staff at the entire hotel was very friendly. If I were to return to Guatemala, I would definitely stay at El Carmen again. Thank you!!"
