Iā€™ve never had to cross a moat to a hotel room before! It added to the charm of this conveniently located hotel. The included breakfast was spectacular! Very close to my grandchildrenā€™s house, but also very walkable to the Central Park and some great restaurants nearby.

This Area is lovely and the climate is really perfect. My room at Casa Encantada was not available because there was some damage after a recent earthquake and I was rebooked at the hotel next door: Casa Pensitiva. It was amazing. I appreciate that the staff at Encantada made this switch so smooth for me!

Absolutely love this place, Hope to come back!

This honestly was the best hotel I think I've ever stayed at, and I've traveled quite a bit! Centrally located before enough away that you can sleep quietly at night, beautiful and local features and decor, anything you could need if you forgot something at home, beautiful volcano views right outside the door, and sister hotel with an incredible pool. Oh, and of course, very affordable. Grateful for my stay!

Really was a great property only issue with us was the shower head keep dripping water could not close the valve for the hot water in the shower causing a sauna in the bathroom due too keep leaking hot water couldnā€™t really sleep with so much noise of the water dripping but other than that really safe place

Super comfy bed, great breakfast, lovely rooftop terrace, and very kind staff. You have to ring the bell to get let in so it felt very secure. They partner with the larger Porta hotel next door so you can use the pool, sauna, & gym there.

Staff was lovely and property gorgeous and well located to walk around. Only difficulty was the sound - room insulation was poor so you could hear noises from other rooms and we were regularly hearing the bell for guests that were waiting outside and wanted to enter the grounds. That said, it was an adorable property and I'd definitely stay again.

Stepping stones over water!

Very nice room. Unique stepping stones over water to get to the room. No A/C and the ceiling fan was noisy when turned up.

The only thing i did not like was there was no A/C in the room i stood in nor was there a screen to keep out bugs if i opened the window for fresh air at night. But with that being said the people on the property where very helpful, kind and the food was great and prices were good. its a very personal type of place to stay no big crowds and central to many things to do i would highly recommend staying as well as staying here again if i ever go back to Antigua.

It was absolutely lovely. So cute and personal. The rooftop terrace for breakfast was fantastic. The food was so good. My daughter loveeed the oatmeal and smoothie bowls. The service by Lalo was great. Super thoughtful and attentive. Itā€™s a short walk to the town center. I felt super safe in the area. Youā€™re able to use their sister hotel for a larger and heated pool which was great. All around great experience.
