Amazing staff and super dog-friendly!!

The staff are all beyond awesome and always super friendly! This has become our go-to place we stay now every time we are in town to visit family. I would definitely recommend this Candlewood Suites to anyone looking for a place to stay in Houma!

I was pretty skeptical based on previous reviews. But my stay was amazing. The staff was great and very accommodating. The room was very clean and even though it is an extended stay and they don’t clean daily, they make sure you have everything you need and cleaning is available upon request. The one negative thing I have to say is that there was a chair in my room, it looks pretty old so I avoided it, but everything else was great! Overall, I would stay there again and recommend this hotel to any of my friends and family.

Decent enough

Staff were all extremely friendly. Location was perfect for all the visiting we had to do. The beds, however, are atrocious. Hard as a rock and as soon as you sit you hear the springs inside creaking and groaning. I didn't know they even made spring mattresses anymore. Do better, Candlewood, uphrade your bedding.

The room and staff were nice. The hotel needs and update. The tv was hard to operate with two remotes, The worst part was the air conditioner not getting cold and it was humid outside so it wasn’t very comfortable temperature wise.

There were renovations going on. A lot of noise from the party outside. A lot of in and out the building letting the door slam. Sounded like people jumping around making noise Saturday night. Ice maker didn’t work.
