"This is my second time up at Christies Mill and Spa. Love the property. It's nice to have your own beach. Love the lake. It's a very peaceful place to get away. My room was an upgraded one and it was very comfortable. I also went to the spa and had a facial.There was a problem with my facial. Kelly the spa manager and the new manager of the hotel were very accommodating. Excellent customer service.Was solved. I'm glad they will be renovating in November. The hotel is old and outdated and needs a makeover. I will be back next year. It's a gem of a place."

"Nice big cabin, pleasantly surprised. The pool was a little cold, but overall great location. They had majority of the things we needed already in the cabin. Only thing missing was paper towel."

"The place was nice and clean. The host was very kind and responsive. The only thing I would suggest is replacing the pull out couch as the one the host currently has is quite small and would hardly fit an adult. Also the cottage is close to an swamp and if u want to go to the beach it’s approximately a 5-10 mins drive."

"The cottage and its surroundings didn’t not disappoint; the place was clean, well equipped and just about right size for a party of two. Recommended for a nice getaway. The dock and water toys are shared between two other cottages so need to be mindful of that."

"Issac & Jacob were great to communicate with. The BBQ broke the week before arriving and he made sure to get a new one in there before we arrived which was MUCH appreciated. Gotta have a BBQ for a cottage weekend!Lake access. There is a little bit of seaweed in the lake but it's deep so just have a brave friend pick the tall ones and it's good swimming. Water was warm in August. We loved watching the loons on the lake. They were there all weekend.I saw in previous reviews for this place that people were complaining about the mattresses but I think they must have got new ones because everyone was quite content with them in our group. It's an old rustic cottage but it looks exactly like it does in the pictures so you know what you're getting. Thanks for having us!"
