The best time to go to Horns Cross for pleasant weather and outdoor activities is generally from late spring to early autumn, specifically May through September.

During these months, you'll experience the warmest temperatures and longer daylight hours, which are ideal for exploring the North Devon coastline and countryside. The weather is typically more settled, making it great for walks along the South West Coast Path, visiting nearby beaches, or enjoying local outdoor attractions.

For those who prefer a quieter experience and don't mind cooler temperatures, late April or early October can also be a good choice. You'll still have reasonable weather for outdoor pursuits, but with fewer crowds, particularly at popular spots like Clovelly Village or the Hartland Peninsula.
