"The cabin is exactly as described, basic, rustic, but clean and beautiful. We really enjoyed our stay, we did a lot of front porch reading. We made s'mores in the firepit out back. Perfect for a relaxing weekend in the mountains."

"This was the third year in a row that we have stayed in Black Mountain. It is a family and friends trip for my granddaughter's homecoming soccer game. By far, this house was the best. Room to seat the twelve of us in the dining room. Big kitchen. Plenty of dishes, pans, and cutlery. Nice bedrooms, only you had to walk through two of the upstairs ones to get to two others. Having the five bathrooms was a great plus with ten women! Loved the rocking chairs on the front porch and the view. Cable, wifi, and cellphone service were great. The long, curvy driveway, up the hill, was the only downside to this property; but, we had plenty of parking for our four vehicles. After returning home, my sister realized she had lost a bracelet her grandchildren had given her. Getting in touch with the host, he was able to have the cleaning staff find it! We hope to return here next year!"

"This house was amazing! It was perfectly quiet & nestled away in the mountains, yet close to downtown to be able to go explore & shop. The trails behind the house were a great addition. The house was clean and cozy and had everything we needed. The screened porch was my favorite place! The hosts were fantastic and were able to help us out when needed and were very accommodating! If we find our way up in Black Mountain again we for sure will be staying here! "

"We loved the view so much. The bed was extremely comfortable and the hot tub was a great plus. We also grilled out twice and ventured out for some hikes. Would recommend Catawba Falls hiking trail. Black Mountain is also an adorable town and everyone we met was so friendly. Jan was great too. Very accommodating! Thanks again Jan!"
