"The property was suitable for the price we paid, but the pictures online led me to believe it was better than it actually was. Communication was good, but had a little trouble figuring out how to get into the room once the code was given to us. Overall it was a good place to stay, just not quite what I was expecting."

Sandy River Retreat | Pet Friendly | Epic Fishing
10/10 Excellent
"The best place if you want to get away from it all! In the woods, by the river! Amazing safe haven "
"This was our second time staying at the cedarwood cabin and it was just as charming and cozy as last time. Being able to get out of Portland and spend time here was invaluable. Definitely will be coming back!"
"It’s definitely a beautiful place, secluded , quiet, surrounded by nature. The host was welcoming and so easy to contact. It’s a 5. But the address is hard to find that’s the only downside… the GPS said arrived, have to keep driving, would need a bigger sign or lighted address at the gate. Would totally book here again. "
Dog-friendly A-frame near the river with game room, firepit, wood stove, & grill
10/10 Excellent
"My son, dog and I stayed here for 6 nights. He went to snowboard camp each day while I worked in the cabin. Strong internet able to handle video calls. Bathroom recently updated, airy and decorated well. Big washer and dryer, lovely deck to sit on in the evenings with the outdoor lights. Nice yard (not fenced in). Quiet, small neighborhood. Lovely to walk around. "Even Better Ifs": Needs a recycle bin, ice trays and a curtain on the window in the loft."
Unwind in nature's embrace at a 1925 cabin with hot tub & river views
10/10 Excellent
"It was an excellent little get away. The cabin is small, with tiny stairs leading to the upstairs bedroom. If you cant manage 18" wide stairs with a tun in them, dont plan on sleeping up there, ha. The jets in the hot tub weren't working while we were there, but it was nice listening to the sound of the river instead. Nicely stocked kitchen with some nice pots, pans, and baking equipment. Kitchen utensils are so-so with the usual spatula and spoon assortment. They even had some spices. Least favorite thing was the fireplace. Probably the worst fireplace I've built a fire in. The chimney didn’t do a good job of allowing smoke to flow up it when getting the fire started, and the air flow control didn’t allow for much air to get the fire started until it is really established. I grew up in a house heated by a wood stove, so I'm not a novice, lol. Otherwise everything was great!"
" This was a wonderful place for our family. It is a beautiful, large home set in the trees but with lovely open spaces also. The great room, (vaulted ceiling, big electric fireplace and large screen TV above that, huge sectional sofa with huge Ottoman) could have all 9 of us in there doing a variety of things and not feel crowded. I had a puzzle in one corner, my daughter-in-law was doing artwork in another and grandson, 4, was playing with the play store set up! We had plenty of room in the nice big kitchen for my daughter-in-law, granddaughter, husband and I to prepare Thanksgiving dinner! We really appreciated the extra refrigerator in the laundry room! It was less than 30 minutes to drive to Government Camp for the kids to play in the snow. That was a great addition to the whole adventure. It was fun to watch our 2 sons and 3 grandsons shooting hoops in the driveway at the house and then heading off into the woods to explore! The property is very large and private and backs up to BLM land. Lots of room to explore. The young crowd enjoyed the hot tub and the 4 year old was thrilled with the large wooden train set he found! And the game room was a big hit with a pool table, fussball, 2 arcade games, and a table shuffleboard. The grandkids are asking if we can go there again!! We enjoyed a very memorable Thanksgiving."

"The property was beautiful! The house was perfect for 2 people and simple but well appointed and very comfortable.
The property management was also very responsive when the coffee maker broke. I highly recommend this property."
