The property had all I needed and more
Great location, room size large and spacious, bathroom was very nice and spacious too. Their cat is very friendly and welcoming. I would definitely recommend this but for no more than 2 people. Excellent hosts.

A Place to rest my head
I was in Hood Rover for a wedding, so I knew I wasn’t going to be in our around the house all that much. The hosts were ok with that and were very communicative and pleasant when I did see them and talk to them. They gave me suggestions on where to go to hike which was awesome. Their cat is super friendly, too. Bed and bathroom were nice and it was a great place to come back to at the end of a long day. Thanks for the stay!

Lovely Stay in Hood River
I was traveling for work for the weekend and had a wonderful stay at Megan's place. The room was clean, comfortable. The highlight was definitely the shower! The bathroom is gorgeous. Walking distance to a few restaurants and coffee. Definitely recommend for a single traveler or couple exploring Hood River.

Welcoming hosts
Megan and Kyle have a beautiful guest bedroom with an amazing shower. They were both very welcoming and personable. The room is right off the kitchen, which could be a problem if you want a super quiet and private environment, but was totally fine for us (they clearly made an effort to be quiet in the early AM). Thanks for the stay!

Hood River is beautiful
We had a great time. The owners were very nice. And welcoming. The cats were good company too. The property was clean and well designed. Megan gave us great ideas for things to do. It is close to downtown and easy to get around. The coffee shop on the corner had really good coffee.

Friendly Folks, Cozy Accommodations
I stayed at this property for 2 nights, and what a delightful stay it was. The host family, and their cats are great. They are warm, and welcoming. The property itself is the definition of Zen, and the back patio could not be a more relaxing place to hang out. The room, and attached bath has a cozy/modern feel (the shower is amazing), and the overall cleanliness is top notch. I only gave this property 5 stars, I would have given 6, but they wouldn't let me take their cats home with me! Thank you, Megan and Kyle!!

Great, comfortable little room
This room is situated in a beautiful home with a quiet, welcoming family. I loved that the room was plenty private with its own bathroom and entrance, but with access to a kitchen and plenty of other amenities in the main home. The bed was SUPER comfy and the shower was delightfully hot and luxurious.

Cute room with beautiful outdoor ambience
The room (and entire house) is so well decorated, a real treat for the eyes. It's obvious the owners have done very thoughtful remodeling with the beautiful bathroom and endless other details. Only complaint is that the VRBO app had a hiccup where it didn't show our reservation which lead to a rocky start.

Weekend getaway!
My boyfriend made the reservation as a surprise trip, but didn’t read the details well so we were a little surprised that the space wasn’t private. But Megan was great and the family left us alone. It was a great trip!

It’s not really what you gonna get
So you can expect to share house with family with a kid, but it’s does not look like they would like to share it. They are really nice people, but it looks like they tied of having people in their home. House has a great design, but bedroom is absolutely different than photos. Also we chose that option because we wanted to use fireplace indoor or outside, but they told us we can’t use either. (Please delete it from your amenities then) So it was weird because you cannot feel privacy, because they are there all the time, but in the same time you can feel like there is homey atmosphere because family not really seem like they are ready to making connections. Anyway it was just my experience, I hope someone else will find what they want in their trip .

Lev did not tell us he had Covid last summer until he arrived and because we had not been vaccinated yet, distancing ourselves was an extra level of safety on our part. He and his girlfriend would have been more comfortable in a private home or hotel room. The fireplace not working was a surprise to us, too, and we take the blame for it. 2 days before Lev's stay, we discovered that we had creosote build-up and the house was filling with smoke. Either the chimney can catch fire or they would have been unable to sleep with the smoke, which is why we told them not use the fireplace. They wanted to start a fire in the firepit in the backyard, but it was after 8pm and we have neighbors. Regarding sharing the house with our family, when a guest books, I immediately reach out to them with 3 disclaimers: the cats, sharing the house with us and Covid. Lev acknowledged these. During their stay, we wore masks and left the kitchen when they exited their room. Their was a minor language barrier, but I did my best to express social distancing precautions. We have been sharing our house with guests for 10 years and are more than comfortable and like to talk, but we are very Covid conscious and thus, give our guests space.
