š§ CONSTRUCTION NOTICE:
A number of sinkholes have appeared on the property which restricts access to the lawn in some areas. These areas are cordoned off for guest safety. In 2026, repairs to the seawall will begin and will continue into 2027. The work will involve excavation and seawall reinforcement work with heavy equipment. The ambiance of Hale Mahina will be affected but we will try to maintain access to the beach area on the southside of the property. Check back for updates on the progress and view the webcam on Hale Mahinaās website for a real-time picture of the work.

Due to Mauiās rural location, you may experience the occasional rooster or harmless gecko. Geckos are friendly, eat insects, and are considered good luck in HawaiŹ»i.
The HOA performs regular pest control, but insects and lizards are part of island life.
Our units are meticulously cleaned and inspected ā contact us if you notice more than normal activity, and weāll work with the HOA to assist. These occurrences do not constitute a refund or rental adjustment.

Everything was as advertised! Great view and really enjoyed listening to the ocean from the loft bedroom. We love Hale Mahina, stayed in several units but this was our first time in the 2 bedroom condos. Had a great experience and miss it already!

The location was convenient, the amenities were perfect (the flatiron, especially) and pool was perfect for the humid weather. Parking was always available near the elevator.
This is our favorite location in Maui. Another great vacation in Maui and at Hale Mahina. Roy's unit is one of the refurbished units and in good shape - well kept by owner.
A very peaceful place to come in after a busy day cheering on the basketball teams. This visit was on our daughterās bucket list for her 40th birthday. It did not disappoint. The only little hiccup of you can call it that, was not finding the pool/beach key by the door. But after looking through the condo we found it on a cabinet under the stairs Thank you for a lovely place to stay!
My Mother invited her two girls and adult granddaughters for a girls trip to Maui. We had a great time, having stayed at Hale Mahina many times before but only one other time in the pineapple condo. We love the views and seeing the whales is always fun. The condo had most everything that we needed to get started for our 9 day stay. The only thing that would have made our stay better would be some new pans (especially to fry eggs). We always had breakfast at the condo and over-easy eggs were not happening. Overall we had a great time together. thanks
This was our second stay at the Hale Mahina Beach Resort, and it was amazing, again! If you are looking for a condo experience, this is the place. This complex cannot not be beat, with a private pool & spa, a nice grassy area to stretch out and their own beach just steps from your own condoā¦it is paradise. We lost count of the number of sea turtles we saw either swimming in the surf or resting on our beach over the week we were at Hale Mahina.This condo was well appointed, well stocked and beautifully renovated. The Loft bedroom gives you ocean views and the sounds of waves all night long. The second bedroom on the main floor gets amazing breezes off the mountain. The management team was very quick to respond to questions and were happy to make sure our experience was unforgettable. We had such an amazing stay and this condo is a bookmark for us for future trips to MAUI! Mahalo
Overall great place to stay in terms of location, having an exclusive beach, seeing turtles, whales (in the far distance, bring binoculars), clean pool and jacuzzi, bbqs, tables, etc.). Condo is nice, has a beautiful view of the ocean, all the supplies you could need.
Only complaints I had with the property was ants, roaches, and a tad noisy, especially if you're planning on having guests in the second bedroom.
The ants/roach problem kept us from leaving out any dishes or food, even in the kitchen drawers. So everything had to be sealed really well, and ideally put in the Frederator.
As for the second bedroom, it's right in front of the front door when you walk in, and right outside of it is the elevator which isn't the quiestest elevator in the world. If you're a light sleeper, you might be up a lot throughout the night.
Overall, I enjoyed the stay, only a couple setbacks with the property.
This condo was perfect for our stay and had amazing features! It was very clean, organized, and overall a beautiful place with a gorgeous balcony overlooking the ocean, access to a pool, hot tub, and the beach, and was very peaceful. It perfectly accommodated my family and the host was extremely gracious and welcoming.
This was a great condo, excellent location, wonderful oceanfront view and great swimming beach. The condo and location really made our vacation special!
