Location Hartridge Springs sits in a rural Blackdown Hills setting, surrounded by countryside and ideal for guests seeking peace, nature, and dark skies. The Jurassic Coast is well-placed for day trips, with typical quickest driving times of approximately: Sidmouth: ~27 minutes Seaton: ~28 minutes Lyme Regis: ~28 minutes
Getting here and getting around: Car recommended: this is a rural location with narrow country lanes, and driving is the simplest way to explore. Parking: free parking on site. By road (typical quickest times): Exeter is around 30 minutes, Exeter Airport around 23 minutes, and Taunton around 23 minutes by car. Public transport: limited in this area. There is a bus stop in Upottery village (near the War Memorial) with regional routes, but it may not be walkable from the site for all guests—please plan on driving or using taxis if you’re not bringing a car.
