A excellent and beautiful place to stay, spotlessly clean and everything you need.
A excellent and beautiful place to stay, spotlessly clean and everything you need. Lovely size garden which our dog enjoyed. Grandson was in awe of the deer than came to the field at the back plus the squirrels. Totally worth the money nice and quiet and so peaceful. The Sidmouth. Arms pub 5. Miles up the road was great to for food. All had a great time staying here, with the added bonus of a wonderful cake left by the owner's as a welcome gift. Can't fault the barn at all, many thanks to Mr & Mrs Bowey for a wonderful stay
My family loved the Apple barrel barn! My sons enjoyed the garden, peace and quiet of the cottage/barn. The host was very kind and left us cake which my boys LOVED! My dog loved the garden and the sheep in the neighbouring field. My youngest enjoyed the toys in the shed/laundry area. We had so much fun and would consider staying there again! My oldest loved looking at the stars at night.
Thank you for a great relaxing week!

What a perfect holiday location.
What a perfect holiday location. The barn was so comfy and cosy, with everything we needed and some unexpected extras: a lovely cake on arrival and a shed with toys in that the children loved. Applebarrel barn is far enough away from holiday hotspots to be truly peaceful and private but still within easy reach of the Jurassic Coast where we spent many happy days. We loved eating out in the garden listening to the birds and watching the bats as the sun went down. We were very sad to leave.

An excellent holiday ,loads of space to relax away from any noise other than the birds and the occasional light aircraft. We had some great barbeques and felt we were in France. Very comfortable and cosy.

Lovely cottage with a big, secure, dog friendly garden.
Lovely cottage with a big, secure, dog friendly garden. Cottage was really clean and well equipped and the welcome cake was a really nice touch. Location is private and remote and as no light pollution, the stars at night was spectacular!
Would definitely recommend and will definitely go back at some point :)

This is a lovely cottage in a very remote location.
This is a lovely cottage in a very remote location. The cottage is very clean, nicely presented and very well equipped. Unfortunately for us we did not enjoy driving down two miles of tiny country roads meeting horse boxes, tractors and on one occasion a lost parachutist and having to reverse a long way to find a passing place, each time we left the cottage. If you want peace and quiet then this is the place for you but it obviously comes at a price.

The cottage is in a lovely rural location.
The cottage is in a lovely rural location. We enjoyed our mini break but unfortunately had to leave after two days due to unforseen circumstances. Our dog thought the garden was fantastic and suited all the way home. Hopefully we will come back. The cottage is just short of a hairdryer! But otherwise brilliant. Thanks for the cake, scrumptious!

It was a home from home.
It was a home from home. On arrival we were given an amazing home made cake and gorgeous fresh flowers. Very clean and comfortable. The garden was perfect for our dog. Local walks from the front door. My 8 year old loved it. Will definitely be returning! Thank you!

We had a very enjoyable stay at the cottage.
We had a very enjoyable stay at the cottage. It was everything we thought it would be. Unfortunately the weather was not too kind and the local fields were very very wet which made walking the dog somewhat of a problem as we had to stick to the roads. All of the roads around the cottage are very narrow one vehicle width roads which added its own moments of excitement too both for walking and driving.
