St Malo is a victim of its own popularity insomuch unless you pick your time, parking can be very very frustrating! The hotel was very nice; clean room, friendly helpful staff and ideally located inside the walls making easy access to bars and eateries.

Charming gem

This was the nicest room yet of our 10 days in France. It had a vaulted ceiling and more space in the room. It is really charming and centrally located. The staff were willing to help with the baggage too

We arrived very late in the evening and the hotel was so pretty and festive with twinkly lights and decorations. It’s ideally located in the centre of things. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The decor is a bit tired in places but, that seems to add to its charm. The room was immaculately clean and the bed really comfortable. Will definitely be back!

Wonderful Property.

We had a fantastic stay at Les Maisons de Lea. It is in a fantastic location. We loved the "quirkiness" of the hotel. Very comfortable bed and bath. Was a nice surprise that the items in the mini-bar (including alcohol were gratis). You do have to book parking in advance (which would have been nice to know in advance). There is ample public parking within walking distance. Because the age of the property there were no lifts to the floor of our room. This property could be more difficult for a person with mobility issues, but was great for us.

Great hotel be aware of the parking!

Really nice hotel on the centre of the town. Very good modern facilities while keeping the character of the hotel. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. We were upgraded from a cosy to a standatd room and it was comfortable, well appointed and characterful. Didnt eat in the hotel as there is so many great options nearby and €26 is too much for a breakfast in any hotel for me. However there are plenty of great artisan boulangeries close by. The only reason i didnt give this hotel 5 is that it advertises it has parking which it does not. There are a couple of spaces in a public square outside, so you have to park elsewhere in the town which could be challenging depending when you arrive. That said it would not stop me staying there again. We really enjoyed it!

We loved the quaint hotel - but being up on the fourth floor with no lift made it a less than perfect stay. Nothing you can do about that - and we could have requested a different room - but we're still healthy enough to make the climb, it was just less-than-ideal. The staff were wonderful - and the location in Honfleur was lovely - just a really neat experience. The room itself was fine and very clean - no issues there at all. The access and parking situation in May of 2026 was a bit difficult - due to construction activities we did end up parking a few blocks away and having to move suitcases that way on foot - not sure there is anything you can do about that, but again, made it a less-than-perfect stay. We would absolutely recommend the place to friends - but warn them on the two issues of stairs and parking.
