"My room was cold and austere. I read some reviews that complained about this. Of course, that is the historic setting for this hotel. It was a Catholic seminary and boarding school. So cold and austere is what it was supposed to be. If you were looking for room service and a full spa, this will not be the place for you. With that said, the bed was comfortable. My room was clean. The staff was friendly. The surroundings were lovely. And there is a mystique about staying in a historic building...
