Great Beach house!

This home was amazing! it was exactly as described, very convenient location to the beach. Pool area was great. I would recommend getting a golf cart if you have small children or older guests. The beach is a short walk from the home but if you have towels, chairs, and coolers it could be kind of difficult to carry in one trip. Overall great stay and the home was very clean and had nice amenities.

Very disappointed. Not what we expected from Sands and Sunsets

Disappointed in this property. 1. Not enough propane in grill to cook dinner first night. 2. Thermostat was on A/C mode -had to request maintenance to turn heath on. Attempted to do this but needed a code that was not in house instructions. We waited 1/2 day to have normal temperature for a home on Christmas Day. Had to buy throw blanket to keep warm. 3. Pool and surrounding deck dirty, had to take pictures and request cleaning. Pool didn’t have enough water, making the filter bubble loudly. This kept the guests in nearby bedroom awake first night. 4. Spa with automatic shut off that did not allow it to reach appropriate spa temps. Had to turn on spa every two hours for all day to have it reach 95 degrees. 5. Smoke alarms started chirping at 4:30 am due to low battery. Emergency person told me it would be 4 hours before they could send someone. Told me to stand on chair to put new battery in. The alarm was above a stair way and unsafe to place chair on the top step. 6. Home had old and tattered beach towels and linens. Bed spreads were worn. 7. House sits on the corner of two busy streets. Upstairs bedroom has no shades, just old curtains. The lights from cars shine in all night. 8. Price for this rental was extremely high for what was received. W 9. Bathroom rugs were dirty, needed washed or replaced.

Great stay!

We had an extended thanksgiving week at this property with 8 adults. (3 couples, 2 singles) and our dog. It was a perfect space as each couple had their own king room (2 with on suite bathrooms and 1 with a shared bathroom Upstairs). The two singles had a room with a full bed and a loft with twin bunks. The living area was cozy with a big island. We utilized it for games, cooking, and work from home spaces earlier in the week. Backyard was awesome with a heated pool and lots of lounge chairs and tables! Garage was supplied with beach chairs, bikes, wagon, umbrellas, etc. We loved our time here and will be back!

Exactly as listed! Nice Location.

Great location between Bean Point, beaches and groceries! Home is exactly as pictured, pool was nice. Golf cart is the way to go, if bringing your own know that you must have seatbelts - we were ticketed first day (we were unaware of this law being from SC). We enjoyed AMI BUT we found the further south toward LongBoat Key and Sarasota the friendlier the people. We loved the Bridge Street area of Bradenton and Coquina Beach - much more southern hospitality. Bean Point is gorgeous, Poppo’s Taquiria was so good, Blue Marlin was amazing, grouper tacos at Ugly Grouper (share with someone), Harry’s Grill at 5pm for prime rib (no later they sell out in 1 hour), Ginny’s & Jane E’s for breakfast and coffee (walking distance or golf cart from house), The Donut Experience was like Duck Donuts, and the Shiny Fish Emporium for sand dollar painting. The house has beach chairs, umbrellas and bikes but if you spend a lot of time of beach take your comfy beach chairs and take your tent or beach shade, we have a Shibumi and it worked great. We rented a boat on our last day and we circled the island, visiting Passage Key and Jewfish Key; we ate at the Anna Maria Oyster Bar on the pier (recommended). Don’t rent the boat with a 40HP, go ahead and get the 150hp or better. Beautiful beaches and sunsets but overall the people are not friendly on AMI, we had a great time with the home overall!

Family fun

The place is very nice and clean. Close to the beach. The neighborhood is very quiet. Perfect for families with babies and children. Pool is perfect for kids.

Perfect

Our group was a sister trip with our kids. This set up was amazing for us! The kids loft area was perfect and with all the bedrooms it made having our own areas for the adults! Just a short walk to the beach, and the pool was amazing and just a few steps from the sliding glass door. I couldn’t believe how peaceful this location was!

Lovely house

This house is absolutely beautiful! It was actually our first time renting a house and the experience was so good that I don’t think we will ever go to a hotel again! This house was clean, the location was amazing, very close and easy beach access! The house had beach chairs, wagon, kids toys, bikes ! The only thing we missed was a cooler to take to the beach, but we got a cheap one at Walmart. The pool area was a bit hit! My kids didn’t want to leave the house! Also was very private. Trolley stop is just a short block away. We would definitely recommend this house!
