"A few let downs, but overall a good stay. The gal that checked us in was not great at answering questions. For instance we asked about the drinks we could see in the refrigerator behind her. It would have been easy to pull out the drinks to answer our questions, but she made up answers that were vague and inaccurate. The restaurant? Oh my gosh! Fantastic. We had a party of 4, we each had different entree, and even styles of food, and we all thought they were amazing!! Following dinner, were going to go to the hot tub. The lights in the hot pool were on, but as we approached, we saw signs saying not to enter. There was no water in the hot tub. We were all disappointed. The next day, there was a different gal at the front desk, I asked her about the drinks and she was very helpful, gave me suggestions, did not see one of the flavors they normally carry in stock, and even went to check the stock to see if they got more in. Additionally, she let me know that the bar made drinks to go. Breakfast was disappointing. The hotel's website says they have French toast for breakfast. We were looking forward to this; they did not, either day. It was a typical free hotel breakfast. Not bad, but not great, but I expected more due to their advertising. We plan to head back to Lamar next year and will likely stay there again. Just some minor inconveniences."

"Cobblestone Lamar is a great place to stay for overnight trips. The staff is nice and accommodating. Beds are comfortable enough, the water pressure in the shower is top notch, the building is relatively quiet, and they have a nice breakfast."

"I absolutely LOVED staying here! 😍 From the second I found this place, I was ridiculously excited about the little log cabin, and somehow it was even cuter in person. It was so cozy, peaceful, charming, and honestly just the sweetest little place to get away for a couple of days. Everything about the stay felt so welcoming and thoughtful. Communication was amazing, check-in was easy, and I really appreciated all the little touches that made it feel so comfortable and special. And the BREAKFAST!! 😋 Oh my goodness. I was excited about breakfast before I even arrived, and it did not disappoint. Everything was delicious, and it made the whole experience feel even more personal and homey. This was exactly the kind of little getaway I needed. I honestly didn’t want to leave my adorable cabin! 😂 It felt peaceful, cozy, and just completely different from staying in a regular hotel. I’m so happy I found this place and would 100% stay here again. If you’re looking for somewhere unique, quiet, welcoming, and full of charm, this little B&B is such a gem. 💜"
