"The house was beautifully decorated, complete with everything we needed! We had ages 1-70. Plenty of space for everyone, and we noted several times how quiet it was. Noise didn’t travel within the house, even with tired toddlers who weren’t always happy, and the early risers didn’t disturb the later sleepers. The outdoor space was wonderful! We found a path that led all the way down to the lake where the kids had fun skipping rocks. It was a wonderful property and we hope to go back soon!"

"The staff is friendly. The rooms are small but they’re over 100 years old. The motel is very clean and just really neat. The courtyard is shared by the restaurant and it is very relaxing. They allow pets in the courtyard and we really enjoyed getting to play fetch with Buddy, another guests pet. The restaurant food is amazing and the staff is great. We’ll definitely be staying here again. "
