This was the most beautiful place, the pictures do not do it justice! We never had to leave this property with all there is to do, but e did visit Hocking Hills State Park and really enjoyed the hike. The cabin was spotless inside and out. Very cozy and just what we needed to unpkug for a while. We would absolutely stay here again!
Very straightforward process. Enjoyed our stay. The property is very peaceful and secluded. We had a very minor issue during our stay and the host was very helpful. If you're looking for some peace and quiet in a comfortable cabin, this spot is for you.
We didn’t see one person on the property our entire stay, which was great. It was perfect. We especially loved floating around the pond on the peddle boat. We will be back next year!
Wonderful time at the cabin! It was secluded and very peaceful. The dock was very nice we caught a few fish and used the hot tub. Would definitely come back again!
We were really blown away by this amazing little cabin on a private lake. It was perfect for a quick weekend getaway. Walking trails, fishing, and a paddle boat are right on this beautiful and peaceful property. We’ll definitely return!

Oasis away from world
This was my husband and I second trip to the cabin. We already have plans to return in the near future. It is the best place for some quiet relaxation!!
The drive back to the house is awesome. The peacefulness while you’re back there is unmatched. The place was very clean and not a mosquito in sight at night around the fire. Very well taken care of place
We loved the serenity! Very quiet and peaceful. Enjoyed sitting on the deck overlooking the water. Loved the hot tub and the fire pit at night. Will definitely go back!
The property was even more gorgeous than the pictures showed. Super peaceful if you're looking for quiet from your busy life. We're parents of 2 kiddos with support needs so this was the best reset for us. We definitely plan to go back, maybe in the summer so we can utilize the lake more
The property was a little further away from Hocking Hills than originally anticipated, but was located close to essentials (i.e. pizza and groceries). This was the perfect weekend getaway for our family. The view was beautiful and our boys had fun fishing, roasting marshmallows and wandering around the woods. Such a great property!
Fishing was pretty good for bass and crappie, place has everything you need or want. Hot tub and your own private trails were fantastic. The peddle boat was good for fishing and cruising around. We did not see a single person while staying there and only heard the birds chirp and the owls hoot.
We absolutely loved it and had the best time!!
It is a very rural area so keep that in mind when it comes to meals. It has a super long lane with tall trees leading back to the cabin. We all r planning another visit and maybe even bring the spouses lol 10 / 10
My partner and I took a trip here for the weekend close to Christmas. The area is so quiet and secluded. We stopped for pizza on the way at mamma renies and it was 10/10. Watched the sunrise through our bedroom window and got coffee up town. The trails were an added bonus even though hocking hill is only 25 min away. The weekend was perfect for us and will definitely stay again!
We had a great time at the cabin. My husband and I stayed for 5 days. We didnt leave the property and didnt see a single person the whole time. The view is amazing and the property had plenty to do with the water and all the wooded trails. The only negative is the biggest bed at the cabin is a full size bed. If that doesnt bother you I would definitely book this cabin if you want aome peace and quiet.
This is my favorite cabin to stay at when I go to Hocking Hills. I love how hidden it is. It is pretty small but that doesn’t bother me. With the hot tub, fire pit, trails, and lake with 2 boats there’s no reason to be stuck inside. I wouldn’t change 1 thing about this place!
We loved this property! But the drive in was difficult on a motorcycle because of loose gravel and narrow lanes. Also, we could not carry firewood on the bike back to the cabin and wished there was firewood available at the cabin to use. Otherwise, the property is perfect for a relaxing weekend getaway. Highly recommend!
This was our first truly secluded vacation. It was utterly peaceful and fun. The trails were great for an activity. The firepit was great by the water and we all enjoyed cruising around in the boat. The property was very clean and everything was in good working order. We brought lots of food and had ourselves some great meals at the outdoor dining table. And best o of all, they're were very few bugs to bother our picnic and literally no mosquitoes. Quite a lot of butterflies and dragonflies! Super place. We'd stay again!
Perfect cabin!! Not one thing that I would change about the cabin or the experience. It was clean and spacious. Andy was great. We had the lake to ourselves, the row boat was perfect. The trails were the best I have seen at a rented cabin. The deck was massive, and overlooked the lake. The dock in the mornings was perfect to drink coffee on and watch as the lake fog roll through. The jacuzzi was very clean. We will definitely be back!!
Such a sweet cabin backed up to a beautiful lake. Very serene, we loved the place. Could use a little freshening up, i.e. area carpets, curtains, some attention to cooking pans, boat. The hot tub was such an enjoyable experience, well kept, clean. So nice to have some provisions, coffee, tea, flour, sugar, etc. Very, very thoughtful.
Just 3 miles to small town for pizza or supplies. Otherwise felt like we were pleasantly secluded, which was the plan.
Great instructions, no need to contact Andy with issues.
Thank you for a great stay!
My husband and I were looking for a secluded property for much needed relaxation. When I saw the private lake in the middle of 100 acres, I knew I found the right place. It is absolutely breathtaking. We had guests for dinner one night and after dinner we all enjoyed a campfire in the fire pit located by the water. We also enjoyed the hot tub every morning before we ate breakfast on the amazing deck. If you are looking for a secluded spot that has a lot of ambiance, this is it! You couldn’t ask for a better host. Andy was amazing to work with. ❤️❤️
