Well equipped hotel with gym amenities and outdoor pool. Toilet was well maintained too. We liked it that they had bicycles we could borrow for free which we used to cycle to nearby dining places and visited hang mua Staff speaks and communicates well in English

I got a room on the 9th floor with a beautiful and spacious balcony overlooking the karst mountains (and some factory site, but unfortunately that's how it is in Vietnam - they are working of removing old polluting industry from this pristine environment). The staff was very friendly and helpful and spoke enough of English to get by. The room is of a boutique type and although a bit aged, it is beautiful. The hotel gave me two free dinners for my three night stay and they even printed a menu for me, featuring my name and the menu items. Now nice and attentive! The hotel is close to the famous Trang An world heritage site, as well as Hoa Lu, the ancient Vietnamese capita, and other site. The Hotel gave me a bicycle so I drove to Trang An, took a boat tour, and return back to the hotel. A reallky nice and pleasant stay. Thank you Ninh Binh Hidden Charm Hotel & Resort!

Our stay at the Hidden Charm was amazing. The service was impeccable, they had great tour packages that included a private tour guide and transportation services which made the experience highly enjoyable and worry free. The property has plenty of amenities, we came at a colder and rainier time but could see how this would be an even more amazing stay with warmer and sunnier weather. It’s walking distance to restaurants and bars. Would highly recommend this hotel if you’re looking for the Ninh Binh, White Lotus experience!

The service staffs from the front desk and housekeeping are excellent. Always polite and ready to help even before you ask. The room itself is spacious, clean and fairly modern. The bathroom large and bright. My room was facing the pool, rice fields and mountain so amazing view when you wake. The room could use better lighting though. The light placement isnt great. Its ok at daytime but not great at night. The fridge at the room barely gets cold even after 24hrs. You cant adjust the settings because there is no settings to adjust. Anyone fancy drinking semi warm beer? Not me. I booked this hotel mainly for the gym which looked great in the pictures but rather dissapointing in person. It looks like they do not take care or maintain the equipment. A little lubricant and cleaning would go a long way. Some machines are broken down. But the worse thing is the floor. Its uneven in many places so everything is lopsided haha. You will know what i mean once you see it.

Shoutout to Trahn (from the restaurant) for crafting the perfect ginger tea. The clean and spacious room added to the overall comfort of our stay. Thank you guys!

The hotel staff excelled in customer service. Our every need was attended to professionally and with a smile. The property was clean and tidy and beautifully maintained. This is probably the nicest hotel in the entire area. Location of the hotel was very convenient. There are many restaurants, coffee shops, and convenience stores in the area. It is a short 500 m walk to the boat launch bay for the Tam Coc water excursion.

We came to Ninh Bình and celebrated our 32nd wedding anniversary and stayed in this charming hotel . The hotel prepared a surprise for us and we really appreciated the effort to make this day special for us. Hotel staff speaks English and we would like to give a shout out to Harry who checked us in and provided us with information to kick off our stay in Ninh Binh. Harry and his team made us feel welcomed and we enjoyed our short stay in Ninh Binh . We are surprised though that there is no car rentals in Ninh Binh just bicycle and motorcycle rental.

The hotel and the street that it’s on is very quiet at night.It has a cute outside courtyard adorned with lanterns and string lights and a cute boutique but that’s where the charm ends. Upon check in, they gave me a lower category room than what I booked. I had to show them pictures from their website of the different rooms. At first they argued that their website is wrong and needs to be updated. Really? After my insistence, they did put me in the right room. Unfortunately, the rooms on the top floor are hot. They had to put in a portable fan. I had to turn on the AC, ceiling fan and portable fan to keep the room cool. Water pressure is low so toilets can’t flush well. Note that they don’t put tissues in the rooms but they use tissues exclusively in the breakfast area as napkins. Breakfast buffet is average and needs more variety. This is the only hotel I’ve been to where a cappuccino is not included in the breakfast buffet and you have to pay extra.

Great Hotel in a great location, walkable to Tam Coc but a moped would be recommended to visit all the tourist sites in the local area. Staff were brilliant and even helped us out with a spare room to shower etc. after we had checked out before boarding an overnight train. Overall a very pleasant experience.

Overall, great. I wouldn't depend on the restaurant though for food because they didn't have many of the options that were listed on the menu. The free breakfast however was phenomenal.

The staff was amazing. Jessica at the front desk made check-in so pleasant for us, and helped us with a two-day itinerary. She also helped to communicate with our driver who couldn’t speak English. The rooms were spacious and clean. Breakfast was great.

We booked and prepaid this hotel on Trivago. It had over 4 stars, however when we arrived by motorbike having travelled for 9 hrs on very difficult roads, we were met with the front porter shooing us away like dogs as we drove up, not to park and empty our gear anywhere near the entrance. So we ended up parking outside the hotel fence, and had to lug our gear and walk 75m to the hotel. We arrive inside the lobby, not even a proper greeting, just “can we have your passports.” I refused because it would mean taking apart one of my bags in the lobby that was muddy and dirty from the ride. Only after explaining to them the reasons for my refusal, they agreed for later. They then wanted to help me with my gear, really after you made me carry it from outside. The next morning I asked to get some tea, they didn’t want me anywhere near their breakfast buffet, I couldn’t even wait quietly for my friends without being told to go stand or sit in a corner. The room was adequate, I’ve been to better for the price. The view was stunning of the mountains and fields behind. Breakfast was not up to par though, not that many choices compared to some other hotels, less priced. They don’t serve you anything, you have to get your tea, your utensils,... everything. Also, no napkins at the table, just facial tissues. Remember this is not a cheap hotel. On our check out they wanted us to be hidden from the rest of the guests; I got the impression they didn’t like motorcycle riders. Stay away.

The breakfast was great. The staff spoke English and very helpful. It was close to many places we wanted to go and within walking distance or a short Taxi. The lunch and dinner at the hotel was not good. Thankful we were walking distance to plenty of restaurants in town.

The resort is closed to Tam Coc, Mua Cave attraction, and 25 mins ride to Trang An. My room has a very nice view of mountain, and great amenities. There is not too many option for food around the resort area. If you are adventurous enough, you can use Grab to go to Ninh Binh downtown at night time and try out the local food. The ride ranges from 65-81K VND each way.
