My best friend and I stayed here for New Year's Eve so we could see the fireworks and attend a dinner (remember that COVID cases are low here so it was a fairly safe move). The hotel itself is well-outfitted and the room was attractive, but I noticed two very important things: one is that there is only a cooler in the room, not a true fridge, which could be quite serious for people who need to store temperature-sensitive medication, and that the twin beds were not true twins, but smaller. As a result I didn't sleep well, and some of the food items we brought with us were in danger of spoiling.
However, the view of the fireworks out our window was really great and that made it worth the stay alone. If I ever stayed here again, I would stay alone or with a partner so we could have a decent-sized bed. But the lack of real fridge was really surprising to me, especially since there was a microwave included.
These aren't issues worth bringing up with management because it's obviously the choice of the Fusion brand to outfit the hotels this way, so there's no point in complaining. These aspects won't bother other guests, and they didn't ruin my stay; I was just surprised.
