"This mountain cabin was exactly as advertised, except that the pictures on the listing don't do that view justice -- it was incredible! We chose this house for a family Thanksgiving since it was halfway between where our families live. It was perfect for 9 of us, including 4 kids between the ages of 4 and 12, as well as 2 dogs. The house was very clean, had some modern upgrades that made for very nice touches, was easy to get to with a smooth paved road all the way up. The hot tub was a big hit with the kids, and that view out the back of the house was just beautiful! Our host Glenda was super easy to communicate with before the trip for planning what supplies we might need for cooking Thanksgiving (casserole dishes, pans, carving knives, etc), and during the trip if anything was needed. We felt well taken care of even though we didn't need anything during the trip! Thanks for a wonderful week! "

"The cabin was so nicely stocked, from the kitchen to the bathrooms to the laundry room. The rushing stream so close to the cabin made for the most glorious sound! The bed (we only used one) was incredibly comfy as well. In addition, having cable TV made it possible to watch important college football games-yay! The hot tub was so clean and added to the all the relaxing features of this cabin. The host was easily and quickly available when we had any questions. "

"The cabin was absolutely beautiful and the view was amazing!!! We did have some issues with the lock, getting into the house and even trying to lock the door to leave. It would take at least 4 attempts at putting in the code for the lock to actually unlock. When we would push the button to lock it and spin the lock, it sometimes wouldn't spin to lock. There was also quite a mess under the couches, that I noticed while the seats were reclined. But other than those two issues, the place was amazing, peaceful and clean. I would definitely come back!!!!"

"These chalets were perfect for a family getaway! Beautiful and peaceful location. We had 5 in one cabin, and 5 in the other with plenty of room. The chalets were clean & comfy. Kitchens were well stocked with pots, pans, and utensils for cooking meals, and there were games, a fire pit, and a nice gazebo directly over the water. We spent most of our time on the porches enjoying the sounds of the water just feet away. This stay felt private, but trips into either Murphy, NC or Blairsville, GA were convenient. Trout fishing was successful here, too! Just be sure to check the schedule for the dam to run its generators. Overall a great stay, and we plan on returning in the future! "
