"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It’s a gorgeous property, the grounds are immaculate and so peaceful. The completely fenced in yard is so fun for the dogs. The house is well stocked and well maintained. We had a few hiccups during our stay though. There is no AC on the property, while I know this is normal for the area, still something to be aware of. The house would get above 85 degrees in the main living areas during the day, even with meticulous opening and closing of windows during the night/day. We were traveling with young children who napped mid day and it made it very difficult, as the house wouldn’t cool down at night until 10p. The house is also on well water and the irrigation system runs for three hours during the middle of the day. During that time you can’t take a shower, run the dishwasher nor two sinks at the same time. We lost water pressure for 6 hours one day where we couldn’t even flush the toilets. Overall it was a fun stay, but more effort for daily living tasks than we would have expected for a luxury living property."

"This amazing spot in Durango did not disappoint! It was a lovely place to call “home” for a week: very clean, well furnished, comfortable beds, great hot tub and views galore. The kitchen was roomy and well stocked for cooking ease. We would highly recommend Soaring Pines Retreat if you love mountain getaways that are pet friendly. Thank you for a wonderful place to stay!"
