"Very friendly family service. Great location for beach - 2-3 min walk. Lots of great restaurants around, especially on beach. Next to road, so easy to get tuktuk. Comprehensive convenience shop 4 min walk. Lovely pool with outdoor shower. A/C kept room at nice temperature, with ceiling fan. Family room had two double beds and we had a cot, so family of five well-suited. Room cleaned every 3 days. Malee cooked us lovely hoppers, dal and sambal for breakfast, whilst the children loved fresh...

The staff were incredibly friendly, the rooms were gorgeous and comfortable, and the location couldn’t be better- right on the beach and just a short walk to Coconut Tree Hill, Parrot Rock, and plenty of dining options. We were so impressed by the ocean-view rooms that we upgraded on the spot, and it made our stay even more special. We’re already looking forward to our next visit"

The resort needs a major investment in upkeep - from the towels and bedsheets, to a refurbishment of the bathrooms and pool. "This is a good hotel situated right on the beach. The room had all the basic essentials. We stayed in a budget room. The walls were full of stains and the mosquito net smelled like it hadn't been washed in months. Budget should not mean the room is not maintained. We stayed 5 nights. The food was delicious, a bit overpriced for the serving size but we enjoyed the atmosphere of the restaurant. Over all, a pleasant stay, helpful and friendly staff. "I stayed here for three days, and overall, it was fine. The property management was super nice and very helpful. The AC and hot water worked very well, and once I got the special wifi access reserved for staff, I had no problems with wifi. I had a solid view of the ocean, but I did discover that I could have rented a bungalow down on the beach for a little less than I paid at Sailors. This discovery was disappointing, but Sailors was still a solid accommodation. "

"Honesty probably the best beach resort we have ever stayed at. The place is small and intimate; literally right on the beach. Such a relaxing environment. The staff are very friendly and personable. The food at restaurant was some of the best we had in Sri Lanka… and very reasonable prices for the quality. The sunsets on the beach were amazing. It’s a quiet area, with not much to do but chill and relax! Spend 4 or 5 days here and you will forget all your worries in life! Highly highly recommend...
