"I booked this hotel due to high ratings and attractive photos, expecting top quality and no hidden costs. Reality was disappointing. At check-in I was shocked by the unexpected deposit demand- not mentioned clear but hidden, where the price was shown as final with all fees included, it did not include the deposit. The receptionist insisted the rate was “too low for two people” and pushed breakfast hard despite my clear refusal. We compromised: I paid only half the requested deposit. I repeatedly asked if a contactless phone payment (Apple Pay) would allow instant refund at checkout. Each time: “No problem, come 15 min early, we check minibar and return it immediately.” It was a lie. At 3 a.m. check-out (early flight) they said refunds only start at 9 a.m., no physical card= no instant return, transfer takes 3 business days. Mr. Ismail Balaban (shift manager?) and the receptionist showed zero empathy or willingness to help. To this day the deposit hasn’t been returned and no one has contacted me. Worst part: the hotel created the problem but takes no responsibility to fix it. Only I have to chase, email and fight to recover my money. Room: very comfortable beds (only real positive), broken bathroom scale, rusty bathtub plug, constant beeping from bathroom 24/7, average indoor pool. Housekeeping staff were genuinely kind and helpful. For a 5-star hotel this level of unprofessionalism, dishonesty and lack of accountability is unacceptable. Price-quality mismatch is huge."

"Beautiful place! Spent a few nights here with two children to visit Ephesus and surrounding area. Owners were so kind and helpful, the place was spacious and beautiful, in the old part of town. We walked to and from Ephesus and visited also the Temple of Artemis. Breakfast was also outstanding. Loved it, thank you!"

"I’ve stayed at the hotel several times. The staff are so kind and helpful (they speak English), the rooms are quiet and the breakfast is top notch. I really appreciate the location being steps away from both the check-in counters and baggage claim for my very early departures or very late arrivals. The rooms have everything you need, even the single-bed room is comfy!"

"This hotel is located in a central area with easy access to many restaurants, a train station and sightseeing areas. On the day we arrived, we walked about 10 mins to visit St. John’s Basilica and the castle. On our next day, we booked a tour through our hotel, which took us to the House of Virgin Mary, Ephesus Ruins, Sirence Village, Temple of Artemis. This tour cost us around 110 Euros, but it was well worth it because it covered so many sights and the guide was incredibly knowledgeable. We wouldn’t have learned the information we did if we set out independently without the tour. Plus, the tour includes lunch. Another highlight for us was the amazing breakfast served at this hotel - it was delicious. Also, the incredible people who work there who are so hospitable and kind and go out of their way to offer help. "

"I was a solo female and the staff couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful. Batul sprung out the door the second I parked outside, carried in my luggage and even parked my car in their secure underground carpark. The room was extremely clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was very varied and of a high standard with freshly cooked pancakes from the chefs. The orange juice could be improved... Overall a great stay at a fantastic price and I will use it as a convenient hotel for the airport."
