"11.28 to 11.30. 2025 I recently stayed at the Skylark Resort in Lakeport, and overall it was a relaxing and enjoyable experience. The location right on Clear Lake is beautiful -- the views alone make the stay worth it. The property has a peaceful, laid-back vibe, and it's easy to unwind whether you're by the water, enjoying the pool, or just taking in the scenery. The rooms were comfortable and very clean, and the staff was welcoming and helpful throughout my stay. I appreciated the convenience of the on-site amenities and how close everything is to downtown Lakeport all walking distance! There are still a few areas that could be updated or improved, but nothing that took away from the stay. With a little more attention to detail, this place could easily become a top getaway spot. Overall, Skylark Resort is a great option if you're looking for a quiet lakeside escape with beautiful views and a friendly atmosphere. I'd be happy to stay here again."

"Room was big, beautifully decorated and a great balcony which you could use during rain or shine. It was great to actually have cutlery that wasn’t plastic or wooden which is what we experienced in every hotel we stayed in during our road trip of California, also to use china tableware instead of throwaway plastic or paper plates. Great restaurant attached to the hotel, live music and fantastic/funny waitress. Would highly recommend both hotel and restaurant."

"The room was cozy with nice furnishing like being at home, not sterile and hotel like. The grounds were well kept and vending/ ice was conveniently located. I’d definitely stay again if I was in the area. "

"Everything was great and the property far exceeded our expectations. The kitchen was well stocked. Beautiful views from the top floor. The kids had a blast swimming. We had a boat at the dock and they loved all of the water sports. Fabulous family time together. Host was very responsive and provided helpful advice. The midget flys were in season but it didn’t stop our fun. You will not regret booking this property."

"Fit our group of 9 and accommodated our activities.Definitely good spot for bird enthusiasts and bass fishers (a few came up and fished at our dock while we were here).We're able to go to Upperlake and Clearlake pretty quickly, so it was a good central hub. Local market was convenient."
