"The lodge is well located in the Hillcrest area, close to the Main Road with it's shops and restaurants. Bev the hostess was very welcoming and seemed prepared to go out of her way to assist her guests. The breakfast in the morning was varied and good. "The hosts are charming and very helpful. We felt most welcome. The stay was very comfortable, and the breakfast superb. There was evidence by way of ash and ends caught in the rail of the sliding doors of the bedroom leading out to the pool, that someone had smoked in the room which was unfortunate."

Some cereal, yoghurt, watered down juice of no discernable flavour, coffee and tea and a choice of 4 options for the hot meal. One option was Halaal and the rest were exactly the same, only the choice of sausage differed.Surely in a province rich in tropical offerings, some avocado and fresh fruit...
