"Out of the 9 states and 9 hotels we visited during our trip, this hotel was by far the best. It was clean, well-maintained, fresh-smelling, and comfortable. Most importantly, the staff were incredibly friendly, accommodating, and knowledgeable. My entire family truly enjoyed our stay here. I hope you continue maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and exceptional customer service that made our experience so memorable. The staff were one of the main reasons we had such a wonderful stay. A special thank you to the entire team for always being welcoming, helpful, and professional. Your genuine kindness and hospitality did not go unnoticed. You made us feel at home and played a huge role in making our family vacation enjoyable, comfortable, and stress-free. We sincerely appreciate all your hard work and dedication. If I could make one suggestion, it would be to offer more healthy breakfast options and add greater variety to the breakfast menu each day. While the food was good, having the same choices every morning became a bit repetitive during our stay. Other than that, we have no complaints at all. "We only stayed one night but I was highly impressed and wished we could stay longer. Highly recommend for any families—with kids or without. Proprietors were very attentive to detail (sidewalk chalk for the kids!), responsive, and exceedingly polite. Room was clean and cute! It’s a mustn’t- miss. We will be back."

"Location is the best part of this property. Very close to Mt Rushmore and 1880 Train as well as downtown Keystone. It's a run-down property but our room was clean and comfortable enough. The fitness room is limited and the pool area wasn't the cleanest, but there were a lot of people using it. There is free breakfast - the quality is so-so. Being able to see Mt Rushmore from the entrance on the street and walk into Keystone was nice."

"We stayed in the Dakota Cabin! The location next to the park was amazing! It was the perfect location to see Mt. Rushmore and Sylvan lake all while being in the cutest area! My only complaint would be how tiny the bathroom and kitchenette areas were and the pullout couch was less than ideal but for our road trip it was the perfect spot and we would definitely return!!"
