The staff that checked us in could not have been any nicer, the cottage was just old outdated bed and bathroom not good.

Very quaint motel, with old fashion furniture and decor, like you are staying at an English cottage in the countryside. No spare outlets and very cramped bathroom. Very quiet setting.

The staff is very friendly and accommodating. I live in hotels 8-9 months out of the year, and often last minute to random locations. This one has been a recent and recurring favorite, because it is so unique and feels very comfortable, but still clean and not over-lived-in. Like they set up the guest room just the way you like it. Also, there are a lot of cool little details around the property - I always see some new random thing I didn't notice the last time I was there. True hidden gem. Don't ever change a thing.

Lovely Country Inn

This is a lovely quiet spot! The host was very friendly, welcoming, and responsive. The room was charming and comfortable. There was a big comfy chair with perfect lighting to sit and read, and there was a comfortable rocking chair as well. Some might find the room small for more than one person, but it was perfect for my needs.

Very private little cottage with all the needed amenities. Quiet area away from traffic and just what we were looking for. A small RV park next door where a couple seem to have nightly domestic quarrels was the only interruption but fortunately nothing escalated to violence. Frankly it was such a perfect place to get away privately that we’d likely put up with that issue again.

Great little place. Loved the homey touches such as the reading chair, throw blanket, and the selection of books. Full size coffee maker and mugs was nice. Coffee maker was quite slow however. The room itself was the perfect size but the bathroom a bit too tiny. We are average size people, a larger person would be quite uncomfortable I believe. Staff was great and helpful. The breakfast was surprisingly nice for such a small lobby area. Loved the mature trees as well as the flowers. Apple Maps had us led a bit astray but we did find it!

This is a quaint ma & pa motel. We stayed during the Sturgis rally and it was reasonably priced and safe. We are not rally goers, just passing through so we really appreciated this soft place to land for a night.

Great example of true America small business

This is a great little motel that is somewhat off the beaten track. It is a small family run motel that is a great example of what travel could be like before big motel chains took over. It would be a great place to stay if you are going to be in the area for an extended period of time. I would definitely stay there again!
