Perfect space and location

We loved our stay! Pictures show exact accommodations. We went for a long weekend to see Mt Rushmore, Crazy Horse, and an event in Rapids City. The motel was perfectly situated for a super easy drive to all those areas. Super close to Keystone. Comfortable bed, finishes in the motel are beautifully designed, room was clean, bathroom nice, larger fridge, microwave, and coffee maker just as described. Nice to know what the room had (in description) before traveling so we could bring items needed like shampoo, soap. Owners are warm and welcoming. Communication and messages received after booking was terrific and helpful. Motel is nestled in a cozy, wooded space. Would definitely stay again, thank you!!

Spotless, quiet, new rooms with attentive owners. Easy in and out and central location to all sites. Small grocery nearby. Dorm style fridge/freezer, coffee maker, and microwave. Huge shower and comfy bed. Fireplace and ceiling fans in room. Charging outlets on both sides of bed. Outdoor firepit and grill available. Bring your own personal bath products. Terrific stay!

Of the 3 places we stayed during our time in SD, Robins Roost was without a doubt our favorite. It was clear when meeting the owners that they are passionate about what they do. When we got into our room, we were very happy with the layout, cleanliness, decor and amenities. The property also sits in such a lovely quiet area, it is very enjoyable spending time outside as well. The location is great too! So close to hill city which is great for train fans and near Mount Rushmore and so many other great things to see. If you are going to be in the neighborhood, do yourself a favor and stay here.
