"My boyfriend brought me this resort for a quick weekend get away. The whole experience was beautiful. My only complaint was the hallway and the room had an old musty smell. It wasn’t terrible and the wildlife outside our balcony made up for it. The view was exactly what we both needed. We will definitely visit again. All 5 stars"

"We really enjoyed how peaceful it was. It was perfect for us. A little dated on the exterior but the interior was clean and had plenty of room for the 3 of us. Kitchen is fully equipped with plenty of utensils, pots, pans, glassware, plates, full block of knives and even a wine opener and pizza wheel. Grocery stores are a short drive if you want to stay in and make your own meals. Small grills outside also. The white tail deer are amazing, and we saw plenty of them. Fawns, does and bucks. Some bucks still in velvet during our visit. Fredericksburg is a 2-hour drive for the wine enthusiasts. Lockhart is 1 hr. 15-minute drive for the BBQ enthusiasts. "

"This property was an excellent find. We were a group of six older women (over 65), but the house would be perfect for families as there are two separate living areas, allowing the children a space to hang out. Not to mention the pool table, etc. It had two great outdoor seating areas upstairs and down, and the pool was PERFECT. A lovely fountain kept the water moving, and it was just the right size for our group. The house was spotless, and the kitchen was one of the best outfitted kitchens I have had in a rental. We brought foil and baggies, which are typically not available at homes, and also included extra paper products as the owner had suggested. Be sure to bring your own tissues, as none were provided (at least that we found). We found that bringing a small foldable wagon was very helpful for getting items in and out of the house, as the driveway is quite steep (as mentioned in the profile). You should be ready to haul things up and down stairs once inside. The owner was very responsive (we had one problem with the front door lock, which was absolutely our fault). Overall, we recommend this property highly!"

"Lago Vista in itself is a beautiful area to stay, filled with lots of activities so close to the lake. This rental was perfect for myself and my 3 teenagers, it’s a cute modern property with plenty of space, could easily sleep many more. Close to the lake, cute bedrooms, adorable little outdoor space. The garage games are perfect entertainment. Communication was great, booking and checking in was a breeze. "
